A very nice albeit small Indian restaurant opposite Westerkerk where we just walked in on occasion. Despite no reservation we still got a table and a very good meal with swift and friendly service.

Great service and well looked after from start to finish. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Food was well flavored and superbly cooked.

The food was delicious, authentic and very fresh. Decent selection of wines too. Masala chai also available which is a great touch. Super friendly staff. Would highly recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Indian food.

My husband used to live in London and we would frequently go to Brick Lane, so we are always in search of comparable Indian food on our travels. Right by the Tram stop ( #14,17,13, I believe), we found this little gem of a restaurant. My husband went a few hours before dinner service to book a table, which is... More

On MY visit I went to koh- I-Noor. It was deliciouse especially the butter curry with nun. I haven't been to the other Indian restorants in Amsterdam but I'm sure it's the best. After the main course I got free vanilla Ice cream. My brother was sitting on the boss seat and the waiters treated him like a king. I... More

We decided to dine here after looking at the previous reviews. Booking a table in advance is helpful during weekends especially. The staff were pretty friendly and their service was quick. Their menu has a large variety of dishes to choose from. We generally prefer hot and spicy dishes and wanted to try one of the vindaloo curries. The output... More

I went here with my wife. She had the butter chicken, which was very nice. Tender, sweet and tasty. I had the Lamb Vindaloo (I have eaten it before)... In the menu it says very, very hot. That was not a joke. I love spicy food, and I have eaten vindaloo several times before, but THIS, this was the real... More
