We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at Daalder - and tremendously enjoyed every moment. The dishes were excellent, and the wine pairing was flawless. Superb service, with exciting background story for each dish and wine. One of the best meals of a lifetime. Thank you!

We had a good meal at Daalder, but unfortunately the service was not that good. We decided to not order an aperitif, and after that they did not ask if we wanted anything else to drink with the rest of the meal or if we...More

I usually know what to expect in a restaurant, but this place blows me away. Let them take you on a gastronomic journey. Describing their food in detail will spoil the surprise for future diners. All I can add is every dish in their tasting...More

Not your run of the mill restaurant. Serves only prix fix courses but take the plunge. Excellent adventure in gastronomy. Loved it.

Went to this restaurant a couple of days ago and I had the best meal ever! The chef is wonderful and the food is as amazing. If you are near to the Jordaan, this is a really good recommendation.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

I agree that you should definitely call first about vegetarian options. When we ate there, there really weren't choices off of a menu. We chose how many courses we wanted, and they brought the specialities that the chef... More

Yes it's romantic, especially if the weather is nice and you can get a table on the patio next to the canals. The chefs 7 course menu is €67.50 the past time I was there. Also go for the 2005 chateaux Margaux, it is a steal... More

When you come into our home, you can expect fine, Michelin-quality cuisine in a down to earth environment. We serve a 4-o 7- course pre fixe menu, made with beautiful fresh ingredients, all hand picked in Paris by our head chef and co-owner, Dennis Huwaë.

His exquisite dishes look like art, and with their many flavors and textures, his creations are a delight to the palate. Because we don’t like the atmosphere of reverence that this level of food usually comes with, we do things a little different at Daalder. We like to serve these fine dishes with a smile in a joyful, unpretentious atmosphere. And, because we strive to make delicious and beautiful food accessible, you’ll be still smiling when the bill is presented!

Warm Regards,

Team Daalder
