So I was here with a group of friends. We were visiting Amsterdam for a study trip. The majority of the group had already ordered and received their drinks, and the rest of us were joining them to go through logistics before leaving for the...airport. However, when me and the two others sat down and the waiter/manager(?) can to take our order, the two others said they were not gonna have anything. Instead of either accepting this or asking us politely to leave the man answered by saying “So you’re blocking my bar, and then not ordering anything? Get out”. We thought he might be joking so we kind of joked it off amongst the group. However I felt hesitant to order, in case he wasn’t. Three minutes later, my worries were confirmed, when he came over for the second time and said “ I told you guys to get out”, targeting the three of us who had yet to order. The entire group was quite shocked as we come from Norway and this is in no way what we except from a restaurant. The man then continues to the exit door and holds it up, with a very unpleasant smile, while he continues to say “get out”. So obviously, the entire group leaves the restaurant with a horrible feeling. I don’t know what the custom is in the Netherlands, and whether the entire group has to order something, but in that case, I still would have appreciated being treated with some degree of respect. I would like to add that there were several empty tables and we only occupied one table. Hope the management takes this into consideration for the future as this kind of place and treatment has nothing to do in the service industry.More

I was with a group of friends at this restaurant. We sat down and ordered, except on of my friends who only wanted some water (had been feeling unwell), and what I believe to be the owner yelled at my friend to leave. We thought...he was joking, but no. He yelled again, and told my friend to “get out”. Naturally none of us wanted to stay, so we asked to pay. He held the door open for us on the way out - but in the sense of “leave immediately”. Never had such a rude restaurant experience before. Please don’t support this restaurant.More

Try the quinoa burger! I enjoyed it very much. A little bit on the pricier side but the taste of the food and the service make up for it. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a well placed and quirky little place. Had to wait over 30 min just to be served, during the wait one could help noticing the overt Christian messaging (even the wifi was called "Jesus Loves You".) Server was less than friendly and the...food arrived a half an hour after order was placed. Food itself was ok. Wont be back.More

Had lunch here, there was nothing my husband could eat as they didn’t understand lactose free. The bread in my sandwich was black bread which was very stodgy and yes I know it’s the way they eat it!!!!! We try not to use the dreaded...Maccy D but sometimes it’s the only place my husband can trust to be lactose free.More

Avoid this place unless you are happy to wait 45mins for fried eggs on toast. The place itself is nice and quirky but the staff are useless. I had to ask for menus ask for order to be taken ask when my order would be...ready and ask for the bill! Zero service. When I complained about the waiting time I was told we're busy today. Won't be back here again.More

Me and a couple of friends had a few beers here. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. Just be aware that staff (at least the one that was serving us) may increase their tip if you pay buy card. Quite a sneaky way...to make you pay more, so make sure to always check twice!More
