Great quality food. We just had a giant meatball and club sandwich. Super quality food and the waitress really accommodated the fact that we were in a rush for a doctor appointment. Great place for lunch or brekky. No licence for alcohol.

We ate here three times on our recent trip to Amsterdam. The omelettes, quiche, tea, hot chocolate and scones are all excellent. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!!!

My husband, two friends and myself visited this little cafe after reading good reviews. It is down the side on one of the main canals. It is very small but despite the fact that there were people waiting each time we visited, we were seated rather quickly. The poached eggs looked amazing so we ordered the salmon, plain and one... We visited Amsterdam over New Years.. so everywhere was very busy. There were queues out the door (but the cafe was really small so we couldn't fault the place for being so busy) .. after tasting the food it was worth the wait. There were plenty of seats outside to wait and the waitresses offered tea to keep warm while... More

Delicious food, lovely friendly service, highly recommended. You may have to wait for a seat but it's worth it.

Perfect atmosphere of a cafe that could be perfect in Amsterdam as well as in Paris as well as in Prague. The staff is great, nice and quick. I did really enjoy the incredible food.

2 friends and I were in Amsterdam for a week around NYE time. After reading the other reviews on TripAdvisor I knew it was mandatory to visit. I'm glad others mentioned that we should get there on time for the opening if eating for breakfast, because sure enough, there were enough people there to fill the restaurant before it even... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
