We were told that it was only the second day they had worked with the current menu and it showed big time. It took for ever to prepare and when it arrived the egg white were transparent. The shakshuka was so concentrated it was difficult...to get down. The only saving grace was the amazing bread they served. If you go there please check out the Israeli Chardonnay; it is a revelation. Staff was over-burden and let down by kitchen’s slowness and did their best. They alone are worth 3 stars.More

After checking out the menu I really needed to try this place. We started with the corvina with tabouleh salad. Unfortunately this was a bit blend. Luckily the seabass cheviche was amazing also it was nicely decorated. Then on the side some Jerusalem bread with...a small portion of pickles. We also ordered the fish shawarma which tasted good. And the humus fries were something we never had before. Then as a desert the chocolate halva cake and the crème brule were good. It was not cheap but we liked the food and atmosphere.More

Five of us went to Bar Fisk and chose to order the Ultimate Experience which was the best restaurant choice we have made in years! The food is outstanding, the service is outstanding, the wine was outstanding, making this an incredible, hard to beat experience!...I cannot say enough about the staff, their food and the fun we had! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam!More

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service - a combo which is very hard to find in Amsterdam but Bar Fisk delivered on both fronts. We had the shared menu and everything was perfect. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Very good food but horrible service : more than one hour to get the food, no excuse about it and very sympathic....

We booked late but were accommodated at the bar which turned out to be a bit of luck as the bartender was experimenting with new cocktail recipes and we got to try a few out! The food is mostly fish as you would expect but...there are a couple of veggie options which the veggie on our party very much enjoyed. The menu isn’t huge but everything was full of interesting flavours and well presented. We tried quite a range of dishes and everything was good. Apart from the aforementioned tasters we didn’t try the cocktails but they did look good! The place has quite a buzz, probably because the kitchen is pretty much on view and there is a lot of cocktail action! Not cheap but money well spent and the nicest meal we had in Amsterdam.More

Very tasty and finely cooked for sure, we really enjoyed each dish. But we paid 110€ with 3 girls and left really HUNGRY. We would have needed a budget of at least 50€ per person to get a decent meal. There’s an issue on the...size of the portions vs price.. I would really recommend to increase the quantities (or reduce price!).More
