First of all: best BBQ around. Super tender ribs, great chicken piri piri and nice drafts. Great service and nice ambiance.

After a very long day sight seeing we wanted to find somewhere close to our hotel and wow this place exceeded all our expectations!!!!! The atmosphere is lovely, quite casual but also really calm and relaxed! The food was amazing! We went for the small...dishes but the word ‘small’ does not seem accurate! They were very generous portions and every single plate was phenomenal! Couldn’t fault anything and the service was also fantastic!!!! Also they lit my banana dessert on fire, just wow!!More

We'd arrived from London, switched into tourist mode and killing it on the first day we got seriously hungry. This place was away from the tourist areas and seemed very popular with the locals. Totally loved the food and beer there. You need to book!...The food was out quick, the dish portions were larger than you'd think. Recommend going for the tapas style first dishes, 6 or 7 for two people - we could have done more ... We were planning to go back, no question, but we like exploring.More

Went with my brother and wife for dinner, and it was fantastic. We had the crispy chicken, ribs, steak, and loaded fries, as well as a couple sandwiches. It was all fantastic, and my only complaint is the feeling I had after eating too much.

I liked the restaurant so much that I went twice !! good ambient music, menu with variety and quality, good wine list. I ordered the corn with feta cheese and it was divine, my husband ordered a pork rib which, according to him, was the...best he has ever eaten. We also ordered hamburger, vegetables and salad. Everything's good. Who attended us was Nino, an incredible person, who did everything to make us feel at home, unlike other restaurants in amsterdam. I’ll miss it!More

Excellent food, bit of a wait. Excellent food, the burgers were good and the was a nice variety in the small plates. I had the gambas, chicken wings and roast potatoes. Roast potatoes with biltong dust were excellent. Some of our stuff didn't arrive and...we had to chase it down but it was fresh when we got it. They did also seem to be out of the majority of drinks we asked for but still all found something. All over pretty good.More

Their new menu idea where you choose several small plates to build your own meal works really well - so fun! The flavors of the all the food are amazing and the staff is very friendly. I’m already looking forward to going back!

A friend and I stopped in for some wine and got to talking with the manager Nino who explained the idea behind the bar. I’ve been to South Africa and think it’s a very unique and awesome concept. Then he brought us some free tapas...with dried beef done SA style. We didn’t eat here but the ambiance and the staff made it an incredible stop on the way home. Highly recommend if you are in the area!More

The setting is earthy, wooden and warm. Food is of high quality and decently portioned. You'll pay an upmarket price, but bargains can be found on their menu. Staff go out of their way to be friendly, and they provide good service. The music is...always interesting and contributes to a cozy atmosphere.More
