We booked the chef table. We got to experience the way chef handles the food and the way it's cooked. It was a great experience, the food was fresh and delicious. We will be visiting you again.

Title says it all! We had such a great meal here. The restaurant is in the Dylan Hotel and only has 9 tables and you have the table for the entire evening so reservations are an absolute must. The room was so nice and cozy. Had a great atmosphere. We choose to do the 8 course menu and it didn't... More

Much talked about and located at the rear of The Dylan Hotel, this popular fine dining establishment encompasses much of what I have grown tired of over the years. Theatre and intrigue are best left to the stage and screen in my view as invariably they do it better than restaurants. The meal commenced with an edible pearl served in... More

We had dinner for my wife's birthday here. The food is very inventive but you really need a mature pallet to enjoy the experience. The service is 5 star. The chef made a special dessert for us to take home as a birthday surprise. All in all a wonderful experience.

We were fortunate to get a reservation at Vinkeles - they only have 8 tables and open 7 PM - 11 PM. Upon arrival we were prompted seated and acknowledged by name. Selected the highly recommended 7 course tasting menu. After the first three treats from the kitchen (inluding a remarkable Pearl cocktail) we started with the first of 8... More

Beautiful restaurant. One of the best I have ever seen. Very good service, professional and friendly. The food is great. It's a real experience. We were two and decided to try the full menu, including the wine. Every single course was accompanied with a very good glass of wine, elegantly presented by the sommelier. The only negative note is the... More

One of the most down to earth michelinstar restaurants in Amsterdam. Cosy atmosphere and not too formal staff. Food always good!

Situated inside The Dylan Hotel, Vinkeles is a very cosy and elegant restaurant which make you feel at home straight away. I decided on the menu option as I could not resist tasting the best of this Michelin star restaurant. The 7 course menu started with scallops, oysters and dover sole, which were all lovely. Preparing a switch from seafood... More

I was looking for a very special place to celebrate our 20th anniversary- I was looking for a really special, magical experience to mark the date. Vinkeles consistently came on top of the list. Turns out, it was for a reason. Or for many. I will start with the setting. The restaurant is nestled within The Dylan, a high end... More

Description
Vinkeles is housed in an old bakery; which was set up in 1787 by the Regents of the Catholic Church, who at the time owned the building. The bakery flourished until 1811 and guests still can see the original ovens, which were discovered intact during restoration work.Echoing the décor of the hotel, Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers’ menu combines the traditional and the modern. The dishes served in Vinkeles show Kuipers’ love of the contemporary French cuisine. He combines the freshest ingredients to produce a menu that is delicious and unique to Vinkeles. In 2009 restaurant Vinkeles was awarded a Michelin star.
