We were staying in Lloyd hotel so visited this restaurant on our first night in Amsterdam. Very good value, friendly staff and excellent home cooked food. Great atmosphere too. Whats not to like! Highly recommended.

I discovered it because I stay often in the hotel next door and was surprised by the nice atmosphere and great food for a very reasonable price. A small informal restaurant with 3 menus to choose from. We tasted two of them and they were both excellent.

A visit to Amsterdam docklands worth stopping here and have a coffee or a beer. A quiet environment with no tourists. A friendly and professional care of an old barman

Cosy Dutch gastro pub with a lot of history to it. 100 years ago it also already was a bar. Not much has changed, so it seems. You can have lunch, or just a piece of cake and coffee and read a paper or have diner. People serving you are friendly. The food is decent. Nothing fancy. Just okay. And... More

What a lovely evening and great meal in this good old coffee house of the Dutch Lloyd. We stayed at the Lloyd Hotel nearby so decided to give the restaurant next door a try.The chef made my wife a Moroccan pancake with grilled vegetables and I chose a more dutch meal: wild meat, sauerkraut puff pastry and a mash-potato on... A historical place, don't miss this hidden spot. Nice prices for typical Dutch lunch! Dinner meals are French, Turish, Italian, Dutch, etc. Very creative chef knows how to cook! I was also happy with the assortment beers. I come here often and with sunny days they have a garden in the back where you can drink and eat. Great prices,... More

Not the best place in Zeeburg to have a beer, unless you are a smoker. These guys will sometimes allow smokers to smoke inside. For all you nonsmokers, like myself, I prefer the Kantine just down the street.

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with good food for a fair price. Always a pleasure to go back to this place. Singer songwriters on sunday nights.
