This is a fantastic cafe which we visited after having gone to the Van Gogh Museum. There is a wide selection of sweet or savoury toppings to accompany the bagels and also a range of bagels themselves. I'd definitely recommend it and I will be returning for sure next time I am in Amsterdam. Good, friendly service too.

Gratz to the staff who prepared the yummiest bagel I've had to date! The bagel was not too tough and tasted great! Dare I say it, the wild salmon with pesto and sun dried tomatoes into place of an Everything bagel was just right for me. The service for a drink was initially was great, but the wait staff failed... Great little café/coffee shop near Vondel Park. We called in here on our way to the park and is a very nice little place. I had a 'nutcase' yoghurt, banana and walnut drink. Delicious. My wife had a coffee and that was good too. Friendly efficient staf and good value. Worth a visit.

I was taken here by a local friend while stopping over in Amsterdam. It was a really cold and rainy day to it was a pleasure to come inside and find such a warm and cozy little coffee shop. The servers were really friendly and attentive. The portions are all made from organic or fair trade ingredients and there are... More

Each year when I'm in The Hague I visit here for lunch and it's great to see it becoming even more popular. The choice is excellent - different types of bagel (sesame, plain, cinnamon, etc) cream cheese (plain, with chives, walnut, etc) and fillings. This is not fast food so if you're in a hurry let them know or give... More

My friend and I visited this place after a bit of research - she is gluten free and as bagel lovers, bagels & beans gave her this option. Although I wasn't blown away and it is a little on the pricey side (i had a chicken salad bagel for about 7 euros) if you are willing to pay a little... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
