These are the best ice creams in Amsterdam. Home made with organic ingredients, and taste the dark chocolate taste...

Family of 4 with 2 children... the woman at the bike shop recommended this place to us and we are so happy we went there. It's a bit away from the touristy areas, which is a good sign! Across the street from Albert H. grocery store. It's a small unassuming place with sorbets and ice cream... a great variety of... More

A good icecream with quite big flavor choice. Bad note for macarons, worse than supermarket but, who cares?!

THE best ice cream EVER, everrrr. We didn't mind patiently waiting for the new batch of pistachio being made right there. Never had such tasty creamy ice cream and the pistachios smelled great.

We had 2 scoops of ice cream, hazelnut and vanilla, the hazelnut flavor was amazing!! The service was ok, the waiter didn't allow us to taste more than 2 flavors.

Homemade tasty ice-cream with lots of different flavors. Big scoops in a cone. Nothing nicer than to stroll along the canals on a sunny day with a perfect ice-cream

we went in for dessert and the service was really good. Had chocolate ice cream with crushed nuts which was SO good. Also the hot chocolate was nice. Wish we were more hungry, would have loved to try the waffles and macarons.

I visited the this icecream place in a saturday. Was very well receptioned, and they have waffles too. But the icecream was normal, milky and has mild taste, good for someone who likes a light icecream.

Didn't expect to find a really good gelato place after leaving Italy but boy, was I wrong! So glad to have found this - I tried the Chocolate cookie flavour, which the staff recommended as one of the more popular flavours (also dark chocolate), and it was comparable to those in Italy! :) Can't wait to go back to try... Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
