When we opened Pianeta Terra in 2000, we made a conscious decision to always work with organic, natural and sustainable produce. Experimentation and creativity is at the heart of what we do. Honouring the values of both the past and the present, we fuse innovation, tradition and imagination to treat the palate to culinary courses that are at once harmonious and unique. Our menu tells our story. A story of travels made, of cultures encountered, of passions followed. A story we want to share with you. Through the dishes we prepare. Dishes that combine the local produce of today with the global flavours of our past. FABIO, RAUL, LAURA

Best restaurant in town! High quality ingredients, experienced staff and a creative chef who loves his job. I go here at least once a month and, when possible, even more. The menu is always changing and it proposes dishes that are put together in a...More

Wife and I had our first night in Amsterdam dinner here. We chose the 3 course tasting, and we each ordered differently (see the pictures). All the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We did not have a reservation, lucky to get a...More

What a fantastic place! We had a brilliant time! Reservations are easy made in line. Warm welcome in a typical Italian designer restaurant. There is a dish of the day, and you can choose the amount of courses. Excellent wine card. Our waiter is very...More

This is a very cosy and charming restaurant. We sat by the window and quarter up with old friends. It was the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely evening. This is authentic Itálian. The food is exceptional as is the service. Also the prices are...More

The options are a three, four, five or seven course menu, plus amuse bouche. I went for four courses and instead of asking the owner to explain the menu, told him to surprise me. The amuse bouche was grains with a very intense, bitter dollop...More

We elected the 4 course option with wine pairing and was blown away by the flavors, portions, selections and service. It was on or above par to any Michelin restaurant we've dined at in the past. Job well done by Fabio and team!

Creative, inventive Italian, with a great and friendly staff. Made dinner a most pleasant experience that lasted a couple of hours. Wine pairings were excellent. Understand, however, that you are basically in the hands of the chef - there is basically no a la carte...More

A rare find. Nice decor, somewhat traditional Italian but on the noisy side. Service is professional and warm as well as friendly. The meal is simple:you trust the chef or you choose from the menu. 3,4,5 or 7 different servings with wine pairing or not....More

The food here is very imaginative and tasty, but that does come at a cost. I was more impressed with other restaurants but I would come again. There was party of 10 of us, enough to challenge any restaurant and the front of house was...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

I wouldn't think it suitable for young children as it is located in a narrow building with many steps up to the different levels. This is a ctuallypart of its charm for adults.
