This is a lovely cosy little restaurant that serves fantastic food. We have been many times and always had a fabulous meal. Whist ice cream with garlic may sound strange it is absolutely delicious! Really recommend the tuna steak!

We wandered in for lunch and sat outside in the sun on this pedestrian precinct. Good location, good service. The food is all based around alive of garlic. We started with Garlic bake - a whole slow cooked garlic which you spread in cloves on the excellent whole meal bread...with olive oil...beautiful. We followed with salmon gravlax (no garlic?) and... The concept is unique but something got lost in translation as none of the food we ordered was exceptional or tasty - the service is very good though and fast but the portions were not to my taste nor was the garlic ice cream it may be a matter of choice and taste

This was my second visit to this restaurant, it is a must every time i visit. We were quickly welcomed, seated and handed menus to browse. The service was very relaxed and had the 'i am ready when you are ready' feel to it. When we were all ready we ordered, the food didn't take long to arrive and when... More

Perfect food, good wines, friendly romantic atmosphere It's a small restaurant, not easy to find, but worth to get there. 5 minutes walk from Rembrandt square. All food have garlic, but it's your choice how much. The best tuna steak I ever had!

Guess I was expecting to be overwhelmed by garlic - which to me isn't a bad thing. Food was good - not exceptional -but I thought the mains could have used more garlic (once my young daughter made a lamb dish with 2 bulbs of minced garlic because she didn't know the difference between a clove - which is what... For garlic lovers such as myself, I recommend this restaurant. The cream of garlic soup and the gambas shrimp dish was tasty. I also had the duck pate, which was served in two small ice-cream type scoops, not traditional French style pate. I dined outside and watched all of the gay guys walk by, as the restaurant is located on... More

The Garlic Queen is a small restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. Garlic Queen with a reason. Everything is cooked with Garlic. They even serve Garlic beer and Garlic ice. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. I had Garlic mushrooms with goat cheese as a starter, very very tasty. The main course was a kind a beefstew... More
