I had a lunch in Gartine and it was a perfect experience, the atmosphere is warm and the staff nice and polite. The food was as excellent, I had Benedict egg which were really delicious and their Rose ice tea. There is a wide selection...of teas. Could not try dessert as I was fine with what I had. Prices are really ok considering that it s city center. I suggest to book as it s pretty busy and tables are few. I did not book but I was lucky when I arrived, a table just left.More

Excellent and very charming service. Dishes are not only a delight for the mouth, with fresh homegrown ingredients, but also lovely presented . We definitely recommend the scrambled eggs on sourdough bread and the homemade cakes. Both have been a blast and an excellent way...to start the day. We also appreciated the location, not too far from the center but also in a quiet street where you can enjoy eating outside. Reservation is recommended due to the size of the place. One of the best and freshest brunches you can get in Amsterdam. Laura & TorbenMore

Came across this beautiful cafe on our last day in Amsterdam where we had a delicious breakfast. The food was so good we came back for lunch! Lunch was just as tasty as were the cakes. The cafe has it's own gardens where they use...ingredients from it in their food. Really friendly staff make the whole place a wonderful experience.More

We opted to have lunch rather than high tea at this small restaurant. We initially had soup, cheese toast and beans on crisp breads. This food was delicious but the Mississippi Mud pie was not to our liking. Staff were very friendly and service was...good. Unlike everywhere else in Amsterdam, this restaurant wants payment in cash and doesn't take credit cards. We also noticed an arithmetic error in our hand written bill which was corrected when we pointed out. We would go back.More

Truly such a delight. The server was just a charm, and she provided us with the most enjoyable brunch experience. The pancakes were a must, and the ambiance matches the complex tastes!

The ingredients is very good so everything turned out great! Their vegetables is so crisp, no kidding. We just wish that they don’t put a lot of herb in the cakes. For our preference, herbs and spices should only be in food, not sweets. Tables...and chairs are quite small.More
