De Wagon is the little sister of De Houtloods. To be honest: I much more appreciate the food of De Wagon. Less pretentious blabla on the menu and more food on your plate. Though the portions are still a bit small, it is much better...than De Houtloods. There is a surprising choice of 3 appetizers, three main courses - also vegetarian, and 3 desserts. With some bread and extra side dish it was enough. Side dishes and wines aren't cheap so as a whole it is rather expensive. The plates look very nice. I had fish with asparagus wich was delicious and a lovely dessert of chocolate mousse. It was a lovely day, so we were seated on the terrace. In the wagon it was bloody hot; wonder how it will be in the winter?!More
