Wow, This place is great absolutely tiny inside with the chefs effectively working in the restaurant, really good food as the title says freshly prepared - if they've got the sardines try them - the Creme brûlée looked amazing but the diet (unusually) said no - will be back to try it

The simple menu ensures that each and every dish is carefully prepared with top quality ingredients. Ideal for a light lunch or dinner.

While the quality of food was good, (I had an absolutely wonderful hamburger which turned out to be more like a filet steak with foie gras and pancetta topping - and really lovely salads), I was seriously unimpressed with the chef's listening skills. Having checked in with him and our waitress before ordering that one of our party was seriously... More

We were recommended to go here by the young waiter in a nearby bar who was very pleasant and helpful on our first day, which seemed to augur well for his local knowledge. Serendipity indeed as Brasserij Breton is a star. Both meat and fish cookery are superb. The menu is short but each dish we have eaten works. There... More

Cozy place with good and tasty food, from starters to full plates, with various culinary influences. Only down side was slow service, although staff was nice and friendly.

I needed a small lunch during shopping and of course went to the Korte Putstraat, the place for food. At 12h30 the (small) place was empty. I ordered a glass of white wine and really liked it since it was a dry wine (and quite a large glass :-) ). To eat I ordered a 'Bretons bordje', a long plate... More

-- Tasty food, served in so-called starter portions, which were nevertheless quite generous. -- Delicious grilled chicken; good grilled prawns; nice dressing on the salad. -- Good coffee accompanied by a 'Bosch bon', a special praline monster inspired by Hieronymus Bosch! -- Service rather slow, as in all the restaurants we tried in Den Bosch.

Found it by hazard, when we visited the Den Bosch Exhibition in the Noordbrabant Museum. Small, cozy, friendly staff, superb Salade Niçoise, and superb pasta. With drinks and coffees, slightly above 50 EUR, so it was a very good choice. Case we come back to s'Hertogenbosch, we'll go again to this restaurant, for sure.

2 minutes away from the Jeronymus Bosch exposition, this is a good option to have a bite. Located in a small street with many restaurants, De Breton has simple but good dishes. Portions are small, so you'll not overeat. Prices ok. Service very attentive despite the fact that it was busy. Food comes relatively fast.
