I come twice a year to Maastricht, which will include a trip to Kruisheren. Creative, good selection of wines, good polite service, good ambience, quiet, nice treats before the meal, excellent bread. Looking forward to the next times.

We spent a nice evening there with a 3 or 4 course menu. Was a stunning athmosphere in a re-built church.

We had a welcome buffet, a 4 course evening dinner and breakfast in this hotel and each meal was of very high quality and would easily warrant 2* Michelin rate.

I had a two course lunch here - starter and main course. Both were presently beautifully and tasted amazing. I highly recommend the restaurant here.

We only stopped in for cocktail and tapas. The atmosphere is beautiful and so unique. The hotel in situated in a historic cathedral. I definite place to have a drink.

Really, it's all very good. The chef brings out the aperitifs to get your palate going, and you're then off to the races with wine pairings of northern and souther varietals. I hope you enjoy like we did, and if you want something other than on the menu, the staff is accommodating.

Great 4 courses menu. As mentioned, slow service. Not a problem for me because had time, but in a rush, I suggest to let the staff know

This is a wonderful and unique setting inside the hotel which is inside an old church. The food is very well prepared and plaited. Many modest portions make up a terrific meal. Have been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All were top notch.

We went here with a big group of friends. We were - I'm afraid - noisier than one should be in a restaurant, certainly if the restaurant once was a church. We adored the architecture and interior design, we admired the staff (who were so patient with us) and we aspired for more of what we got here. What a... More

We booked a late Sunday lunch. The restaurant was quiet and the service at first was super slow which was quite painful. Once they warmed up though it was a good experience. The menu choice was interesting and if you didn't choose a tasting menu the choice was limited. The food was good quality though and the setting was impressive.

The church building features a mezzanine, which brings you a little closer to the “heavens” above, allowing you to view the beautiful ceiling and wall paintings in greater detail. The modern light installations that appear to be floating in mid-air create a somewhat other-worldly impression. The mezzanine is open every day for light lunches and dinner. The chef presents a variety of culinary surprises, and the team of waiting staff serves complementing wines from all over the world.
