We moved to Maastricht a few weeks ago from California and I was craving some comfort food in the form of pizza.
We had walked by Cucina 50 several times and decided to give it a try tonight. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. The service was warm and friendly - quick without being intrusive.
The pizzas (my daughters each had the Margherita; I had the Diavola) were exactly what I was looking for. The crust was thin and crisp, it had the perfect amount of toppings, and the sauce was flavorful without overwhelming the toppings. Each pizza was enough to feed 2, so they were happy to box up our leftovers for us to take home.
We will definitely make this our regular spot!

Good food, nothing special, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. If you're looking for a tasty pizza in Maastricht, you should search online and you'll find a good restaurant that I won't mention here for legal reasons. Good luck with your search.

The staff is very welcome and take time to chat to all their customers. I ordered a Spaghetti and get full plate with meat and also double cheese. The taste was graet. I also ordered a black tea and that was also okay. I can definitely recommend as it just 1 minute by walk from center train station.

I went here with my boyfriend to eat dinner. We were assigned a table right at the entrance of the business so every time someone went in or out there was a constant cold wind coming in our direction. The service started well even though it was fairly slow while it wasn't even that busy. When ordering the food we suffered from a language barrier, but we assumed that our servant had understood it because we had relied on the menu. When we got our food, my boyfriend got a completely different pizza than he had ordered. He had clearly said 2x that he had ordered a magherita but still got a nepolitana with fish and olives on it. When we let the service know, it was said that he had ordered the nepolitana while he has made it clear several times that he had not. The service was completely incomprehensible and got angry at us as if it was our fault that our order was taken incorrectly...? Then the pizza was removed and we didn't get an update on how it was for 20 minutes. Eventually the boss came by and asked what had happened. After explaining it again we finally got the right pizza but without a decent apology. I feel like it’s not a good idea to put someone that can’t speak the language or English well as a server. The food was also mediocre compared to the price...

The food was ok.I had a pizza and my wife pasta.I would say normal quality and portions allow the starter and/or dessert.Price-performance rather a bit expensive,

We stayed in a hotel without a restaurant and looked for an Italian restaurant near our hotel.
Delicious food, drinks and refreshments. Ate: Calimari, linguine vongole completed with a super tasty Pinot Grigio!!!!

We came on a Monday about 230 and we’re able to get right in. We split a pizza and a salad and had some beers and it was amazing. The food here is just outstanding. The prices are reasonable. The beer was nice and cold. Please go to this place. You will love it.

Unfortunately very small portions, prices incredibly expensive, no bread as an appetizer, 2 cheap pieces of baguette with the main course and unfortunately no very good tasting meal. We had cannelloni and lasagna.
