The place is gorgeous. 700+ year old frescos on the walls and ceiling! Too bad there is a bookstore inside this beautiful, historic building. It's like being inside the Vatican while around you are people shopping for shoes and others sitting down eating hotdogs. The coffee is good. So are the sweets.
Lovely location situated in a wonderful old church right in the heart of Maastricht old town. Plenty of English, Spanish, French, German books to purchase and as always with Coffeelovers a great cuppa. Absolute must visit for anyone who finds themselves in the prettiest town in the Netherlands
I had already heard some good stories about the coffee here and I have to say the coffee I had lived up to it. Friendly service and the location is the icing on the cake

We rushed here, found a table and ordered coffees and cakes. They tasted really great, I haven't had such a coffee or a desert for a... More
if you make people pay 3/4 euros for a coffee at least serve it to the guests. the coffee is not bad but the prices definitely too high compared to quality and service.
Coffee is great but it is not the most relaxing spot in town to have a slow coffee. A good selection of sandwiches and cakes as well.
The atmosphere in this church / book store / coffee shop is just breathtaking. Besides that, the coffee is fabulous. It's made by barista's so you get always the best out of coffee. If you're hungry, the glass case with deluxe food will catch your attention for sure. You might wanna try the focaccia. A must-see / drink when you're... More
