Lovely fish and vegetarian restaurant. Though we are not much of fan of vegetarian there are interestig dishes. Our preferance is the fish. Favorit is the coquilles the st jacque with vanilla, however dishes change.

This place came highly recommened, but did not meet our expectations. We had some good but not great fish dishes in this restaurant, but it was too expensive. Also drinks were rather expensive. Would not go again.

Lovely small restaurant that is not very well known in Groningen. The sea food is incredible and the cheese fondue is definitely a winner.

Definitely not cheap, but worth every penny! The menu is changing frequently, not to long and complicated, friendly staff. Location is not easy to find for non-Groningers ;-)

Love the "simple" way the food is served and the choice of ingredients. This in combination with a fair price.

I found this restaurant while searching on the internet. The cheese fondue was excellent, served with bread vegetables and a very tasty salad. We were given two bowls, one with sesame seeds and the other with cumin both of these can be used or not to enhance your meal. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service along with a nice selection of... More

It was cosy welcoming interior that drew me in and it was nice to discover that it serves only seafood and vegetarian - which is just what I was after. The menu is in Dutch but the lady explained it and I chose the baked turbot. It was absolutely fresh and beautifully cooked and I have never tasted samphire that... More

I went here several times already. The foods were so good. I chose this place because it served only seafood, and I can say it is safe for a moslem to have dinner there.

Located in a 17th-century-building right in the middle of the oldest part of the city, the A-kwartier, you are warmly welcomed by Gea Jarings the wife of chef Martin. The interior is tastefully decorated with occasional art exhibitions. The menu offers an exquisite range of fish, sea food and vegetarian dishes. Also there is a good choice of wines. That... More
