We had heard good things about this auberge but had never eaten there until a recent hot Sunday lunchtime. Our table was under one of the large platanes where we could take advantage of the shade and the breeze. We received a warm welcome and...a complimentary aperitif while we considered the menus which come at a range of prices. There was plenty of choice and several options appealed. The staff seemed very accustomed to a busy service and we found it relaxed and unrushed. The three courses were generous in quantity and high in quality with culinary skill in evidence. Wine by the bottle was affordable as carafes are not available at the weekend. Card payment isn’t available. We’ll certainly be back.More

In walking distance to the La bastide des cèdres you find an excellent small restaurant with an extraordinary cuisine.

If it wasn't for the mention " restaurant gastronomique" above the entrance you woudn't take this place for a restaurant but rather for a local pub. The food is good using a lot of local products. As it was the 2nd of januari we got...a small drink on the house to start. A mixture of all the left overs from the year before I suspect. Didn't like the taste. Then for the food, there wasn't much choice since it was the last service before their holidays. So all of us took the menu at 40€. The starter was a ravioli with black truffle. Delicious, a winner! Then came a soup "en croute" with foie gras and truffle again Not bad but when opening the croute you mix it all in the soup which becomes too thick. We took two good local wines. I would recommend the " Elegance" over the " Pious" since more character. Throughout the meal the service was friendly. With the coffee and the wines the total bill amounted to 208€ for 4 people.More

Got peckish while traveling in Provence, somehow found this little (5 tables) restaurant/auberge. Plat du jour was a fine, unspoiled Fricassee de volaille à l’ancienne and a carafe of local wine. A pleasant reminder of France from many years ago - and what is getting...harder and harder to find in France these days. Here is a post on my blog that features the restaurant: http://wp.me/pNid9-4gyMore
