Great burgers and salads

The ideal place for a lunch in summer or before cinema if you have about one hour. Salads and burgers are really tasty, so is the beer.

It's hard to find restaurants in Zurich were you can sit down and have a proper meal after 10pm. This is such a place! The restaurant is rather loud as in the later evening but the food is good. A bit expensive, but usual Zurich prices. ;) for some crostini, a burger, a pasta, a bier, two soft drinks and... More

Food I was here for our company's Christmas dinner, so we had a special menu. First we were served various appetizers, we were all nice (avocado, antipasti, prawns and more). Our starters were a salad with Swiss jerky and the pumpkin soup, which were both nice. The main course was however not good: We were served meat which was quite... More

It is in a great location and very well thought out ambience. Service is very friendly and helpful and willing to assist with special requests. The food on the other hand is rather pricey which does not necessarily reflect on its quality. I wouldn't recommend to go there for more than a few drinks, unless you are willing to spend... More

Went there before we went to the movies. The beer is made by themself and very nice. Food is classic sportsbar food, easily replaceable. Staff is friendly and prices are typical Zurich level.

When I pay over 20 CHF for a burger, I expect it to be something special. However, Steinfels doesn't deliver. Their fried burgers taste very run-of-the-mill and easily forgotten. The pub-style menu has nothing that stands out aside from the prices. Let me be clear though, the prices are average for Zurich. The restaurant setting also lacks a bit of... More

The menu is huge! From Thai to burgers, fish and pasta you find everything on it. We went for the burgers and it was a good choice. Proper American style beef burgers with a generous beef patty of 220 grams. The interior design of the restaurant is colorful and stylish. The beer of their brewery is very good.

A place that has been a victim of its own success. Excellent at the outset - these days they simply don't employ enough service staff to cope with demand (cutting costs?). Still, if and when you do get served, their home-brews are excellent, the Pils in particular.

Large burgers (including an ever-changing special-feature burger), salads, pastas and Swiss specialties feature on the menu here, but the highlight is their own-brewed beer. I quite liked their amber lager. Burgers cost mid 20's CHF including a generous side of chips. Nothing is cheap in Zurich but I have paid more for less here.
