On my first trip to Zürich Switzerland with my daughter, who travels quite frequently to Zürich for business, insisted we have dinner at Zeughauskeller. She makes a point of visiting this establishment on every visit to Zürich. It is in downtown Zürich. The historical structure was interesting. The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. Service was quick and efficient.... More

I had kalbsgeschnetzeltes mit rösti for lunch and it was delicious as i expected. The place is not that amazing but pretty comfortable. Right price/quality ratio.. And i mean.. To be in Zürich is pretty cheap!

We really enjoyed the authentic fifteenth century atmosphere - and wall decorations, including late-medieval and Renaissance era weaponry!-of this very centrally-located Zurich city restaurant. The food was very typically Swiss- rosti with everything but it was delicious and the perfect accompaniment to the veal, for instance. The wine list was very impressive nad the waiter could recommend a very fine... More

It was a very restraurant . Food was very good and beer ,too, but the server asked us to pay tip!!! That is strange.Basically tax and service are included in resutaurant and taxi in Swizerland. Why did they ask us to pay tip?! The server didn't do special thing to us. The staffs are not suposed to expect tip from castomers... More

Authentic + Comfortable + William Tell's Crossbow - Typically Zürich expensive. Rösti, hearty meats, warm and inviting.

We stumbled upon this German Beer Hall Style Restaurant by accident while looking for another place for a drink. We have been to Zurich about ten times now and have never noticed this place before.... We decided to check it out.....and we were not disappointed. This place can fill up pretty fast so if your really want to eat here... More

I've eaten here on both my trips to Zurich, and I am always happy. The Rösti is perfectly cooked, although I wish they would finally serve it with some melted cheese on top! The meats, a lot of veal, are generously portioned. And if you order a dry entree, you can ask for some cream sauce to go with it.... More

We walked into this restaurant and got to share a table. Impressed by the ambiance and dishes we did not get to order the first visit, we walked in the next day around noon to reserve in person a table for three for 7:00 p.m. dinner. When we arrived, we were told that they did not have our reservation. Clearly,... More

We visited on a Monday lunch The special was a veal schnitzel with tagliatelle and lemon sauce Beware as this is not the famous Wiener schnitzel which is flour coated fried and large although more expensive but worth it. This was a small portion of cooked veal - maybe 100 grams of meat with some vegetable and pasta I admit... More

Nice food. Not wow, but good. Decent prices especially considering the central location. It's good culinary experience to have as a tourist in Zürich!
