Definitely a must visit! The atmosphere is amazing with a constant happy buzz from all guest and staff. The portions are big and the beer is on point. Good value for the money

If you want good food at a reasonable price this is the place. Zurich is a really expensive but the prices in this restaurant is pretty cheap to compare to other restaurants in the area. The pork shank was so delicious and I love their potato salad. There is a huge bread basket on each table, you get charge for... More

Located towards the end of the Bahnhoffstrasse, this very old building houses one of the most excellent restaurants in Switzerland. It is known for its half metre and metre long sausages (don't order them just for yourself!!). Regional dishes are seasonal too. Tables for couples or solo's are shared with others - which really ISN'T a problem. Its always very... More

Booked a table well in advance because we were only going to be in Zurich for one night prior to our flight home. The young woman at the reception could now find my name on the list, but when I showed her a copy of the online reservation we were seated immediately. Our waiter spoke English and provided English menus... More

It's a really big restaurant, inside the atmosphere is like pub. But the food it's really tasty and the service it's alright with friendly waiter. I never tested swiss food before, but it's a must if u are in zurich.

Rather overrated but casual fun place for tourists looking to feel they are in a Swiss German beer hall. Good sausages but poor accompanying sausces and sides. Beer worth a try and better for large groups as you end up sharing tables. Service very mixed and depends on the server. Patience required as waiting time is long. Worth going once... More

I have eaten at this restaurant several times over the years. Its consistency is one of its forte. I had the Schweinshaxe with Rösti. It wasn't the best I have had, but still it was pretty good. Being an American there I had to ask for butter and ice several times, but I have come to expect this in Europe.... More

Friendly service and delicious, traditional Swiss/German food. Comfortable and casual atmosphere, great for families. The restaurant used to be an armory so it has very cool historical military décor. Definitely an authentic experience.

The Zeughauskeller is not the place to go if you are on a light diet. Here your senses will be overwhelmed with plates of sausages and schnitzels, complete with potato salad or french fries. The atmosphere is an attempt on a Bavarian beer hall, but it is a bit kitsch yet remains fun enough. Interesting decor with weapons, knights armour... More

You can have the most typical swiss dishes such as zurcher geschnetseltes, schnitzel with pommes, kartoffel Rösti! Very loud ambience like a real "Keller" basement as tb German word says. In the middle of city center at Paradeplatz the location is perfect for a rest of your city tour and very cozy also in wintertime!
