We rang ahead to check it was open and were told the kitchen was going to close soon. We managed to get there in time and order our food - even managed to have a look at the beautiful decor. We sat outside and were...one of two couples there - the outside area is incredible and in the incense burner added to the overall vibe. The food was amazing and well presented. Even though the kitchen was closing up they waited and asked if we wanted dessert as well. A good evening and worth every penny spent.More

For a change, the choice tonight was Indian. Seems that the staff is actually from India, which added to the feeling of genuine cuisine. A rich choice of dishes from the region of Malabar. Keep in mind, not spicy for Indians may still kick you...out of your chair ;) - staff is very attentive and forthcoming to special requests, bravo!More

It was the first time I ate in a restaurant after the confinement. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious! Everything was served beautifully in authentic bowls. We ate outside on their terrace, which is surrounded by trees - very nice atmosphere! I...will definitely go again.More

Good quality of Indian food with super nice cocktails selection! The staff is super nice and friendly, rare to find this in Zurich. Recommend it to give a try but don't forget to say NO when they ask you if you want your dish spicy!!

One of the best I have found in Switzerland. You curry like we like it in England, then here is your place.

We stumbled here by accident and are really glad that we did. Really really good food and friendly staff. We will definitely come here again. One of our group is coeliac and gluten free was no problem here. Only the breads and biryani have gluten...in.More

The review is for the cooking course the restaurant offers. I was coming in with very high expectations, and was unfortunately very disappointed. First of all, the communication and everything before the course was in English, while on the actual day, the expectation is that...everything is in (Swiss) German - the owner was nice enough to at least speak High German and/or a little bit of English, but I would definitely like to be warned about this beforehand. Then, you personally do basically none of the cooking as the attendee - some of the folks were able to mix, but all chopping, measuring, ... was done by the owner, hence basically no hands-on experience. Furthermore, the course is really spread out, there were maybe 2 hours out of the 7 we spent there where we were just sitting and waiting around for something to happen. I was also surprised that we were basically kept hungry from 10am to 5pm apart from a tiny bit of sampling samosas at the very beginning, and a bite of naan in the middle; I really didn't expect that I'd need to bring my own lunch to a full day of cooking course. And to top it off, the food that we had in the end was oversalted to the point that I only enjoyed it because I was practically starving by the time we got to eat it. If I paid maybe CHF 80 for this experience, I would maybe be able to handle it better. But CHF 140 were definitely way, way too much for what you're getting.More

Very busy and decent traditional Indian restaurant. I ordered the prawns for appetizer, which was uniquely prepared in a dark and spicy sauce and served in a small banana leaf wrap. I like it! Plus the Chicken Biryani that took over 20min to prepare as...stated on the menu. But it was tasty and served in a deep dish baked in the oven covered with what appeared to be more like. Pita bread rather than an Indian Naan. This was just ok for me. The service was also good given that the place was really jammed up full until out 8pm. I sort got lucky to get seated right away without a reservation.More

We had not booked and fortunately a table became free so we could eat here before the concert at the Hallenstadion. We had the Malabar Buffalo and the vegetarian Vegetable Kuttu plus Naan and rice. Prices are usual Zurich prices but portions seemed a little...small but tasted very good. Great service- and they don't charge for tap water -but it came luke warm! Could have done with some ice....Would definitely go again when we are going to the next concert.More

It was already past 9.30 pm when me and 3 friends had a drink there. Basically a dining restaurant they offer a few tables in the back for a drink and a snack. Very nice and friendly staff. The food is also very tasty. I...had dinner there 3 yrs ago. It was fantastic. If you like beer you should try the Indian ones: Cobra or Kingfisher.More
