Place is overcrowded in the evening, better book in advance. Staff friendly but polite. Short menu, but good food quality, even if the plates are quite small. Nice set up and general atmosphere.

We went a couple times before COVID and it was lovely – great ambiance, good cocktails. We went again last Friday as a reunion with old friends from ETH and it was more than disappointing – awfully cold staff, lack of respect and consideration (ever heard of...kindness towards the client? No?). We waited >30 min to be seated, the manager at some point told us we could not seat where we had been assigned to, with no niceness or consideration whatsoever – like it was our fault – and thereafter the staff acted constantly pissed and disrespectful. Not to be rude, but treating recent 25-year-old graduates and professionals (plus, some happen to be Swiss and therefore staying in the long term) who are living in Zurich and starting a professional life here might not be the best strategy to play. Horrible attitude of serving people, practically rolling eyes and ignoring, like doing you a favor. Was there with a friend and ordered burgers, the waitress didn’t even ask about how the meat should be cooked. Burger came over salted and the meat quality was poor....Never coming again for the food. Great experience at the LoftFive for the New Year event in 2021. We went there as a family (4 adults & 2 teenies). The team is super customer oriented, professional and responsive to any requests you might have. Food was excellent and of great quality,...as well as wine and drinks served. The evening was simply great and I can only recommend the place.More

1.5 hours waiting for a hamburger as main dish. After telling twice to the waiter, he said that basically the restaurant was full and it is what it is. Arrogant attitude and poor organization. Not comming back.

Environment is nice. Food is okay. Sevice is impolite. Once you paid and gave them a tip, they do not care about you anymore. While we put on our jackets, they told us that people are already waiting for the table (despite we reserved the...table for the evening)…. in addition while getting ready to leave the started preparing the table.More

Located in the very heart if the city center, only 5 mins from the main train station . The place is very modern yet classy looking with covid precations. I was surprise that they have enough guest during lunch time. They also have a lounge...for *after work drinks* Food price is ok service is good. Food recommendations Tartare and there Burger. Overall this was a very good stop for me In Zurich while waiting to head to the airport. It’s a bit awkward to find as it’s not on a commercial road and there are works taking place around. The venue is nice with some hip...trendy design. I missed the lunch menu (which finishes at 2pm) but was able to order a decent meal via the bar menu. I had the burger which comes with fries and has a great présentation. Taste is good. Not the best I’ve ever had but good. The meat which is a mix of beef and pork was very juicy. Service was friendly and efficient. Would go back.More

My sister and I with my husband had an informal dinner there last night and truly enjoyed it. Loft Five appears to be quite a hip and trendy place but caters for everybody. We liked the decor, the service and very importantly, the food. The...burgers were excellent even if a bit pricey as someone else commented on already. But regardless, it's definitely worth it and we will go there again for sure.More

We celebrated our Xmas Company event there! The place is really fancy & casual with a nice vibe (especially around the huge wood table). The food was good and the service kind & professional. It was a great evening!
