As some earlier reviewers mentioned already this is more an eatery than a restaurant. But there is nothing wrong with that. Their food is tasty and staff is nice. If you are looking for a fast and simple meal you should definitely consider going there. Specially if you like Asian cuisine.

good things first: the ambiance is laid back, friendly and unpretentious. the bad things: most of the food is not freshly cooked but has been prepared, like in a mensa. The rice I've ordered was served not hot but cold, with some grains already gotten hard from being exposed all day at the counter next to the other dishes. The... More

The food definitely isn't the best ever, but if you are in a rush at lunch then it is good. I haven't tried the fish curries, but the best thing I usually get is the spicy chicken satay. The portions are big and the price is reasonable for Switzerland. I don't recommend the beef though as it is usually a... More

Before I elaborate on the food Let's go into some details of the ethical standards followed at this place. The guy tried to force us to take three dishes (more expensive) when I clearly told him just two. He still did not listen and put something on my plate that first, I did not want and second, I did not... More

I'm not sure if it's because I'm Vietnamese and got an authentic meal here, but I really enjoyed the food and found it as good as any in a decent restaurant in California. We had tasty and fresh "goi cuon", and both the "pho" and "bun cha gio" were delicious. Actually, the "goi cuon" was tastier than many I've had... More

We ordered beef with noodles salad. It's way too salty. Another dish we ordered is Pho. The beef is rare. The lady boy staff liked to touch your hand. Guys please be careful.

This place is always packed, so anywhere this popular is worth a try. I don't know if it is just my tastebuds, but I find that many restaurants in Zurich make asian food (of whatever denomination) really quite salty, and this is no exception. Salt aside, the portions are generous and flavours otherwise bold. Let's be honest, this is a... More

We dropped by Petit Saigon with two families for dinner on the weekend. I have been there for lunch and was disappointed with Europeanized, creamy pseudo-Asian food. It reminded me of the cheap Chinese food from Panda Express at American shopping malls. This time around we ordered some authentic dishes like fresh summer rolls (goi cuon) with Nước mắm pha... Great Vietnamese restaurant, very friendly staff, lots of choice, flexible in mixing and matching them. Good value. Casual, informal dining, takeaway possible. Central location, easily accessible by bus and tram. Would certainly return whenever I found myself in the area.
