Went there twice on sunday for brunch. Really great value for money! The food is above average good and the price is great for the brunch package (below 40 as I remember). The atmosphere and decoration is great. Only thing bad was that the service was a little rude and not that attentive.

I came for Sunday brunch with some of my lady friends - we reserved a table and it was a good job we did, as the place was packed (with other groups of brunching ladies). We had a prosecco, fruit juice and a coffee each, plus unlimited food. They had mini muffins, pastries, meats, cheese and some warm vegetarian dishes... More

The restaurant is situated in an old viaduct arc. That gives this place a very unique, ancient but at the same time modern atmosphere. The light's a little bit dimmed - that makes the mood more comfy and calm. You can choose wether you want to sit in the cushy lounge or at a table. The pasta was delicious and... More

Me and my friend went here, famished, for lunch. We're not from Switzerland so when the waitress asked us something and we didn't understand, we politely excused ourselves and asked her again. She almost screamed at us: "ESSEN!?" ("EAT?!"). I was almost scared to answer. When we asked if we could have the cosy table in the corner, she literally... More

Ambrosi is located at im Viadukt 25 under the rail tracks. This is a nice quiet spot in the mornings to read a magazine, catch up with all the news from the many daily papers or work on your computer projects as they offer free Wi-Fi. The soft lighting and music, option of table seating or at the rear there... More

We coincidently walked into Ambrosi one recent Sunday looking for a bite for lunch. We didn't have any high expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interior, the quiet exterior (the street isn't highly frequented) and attentive staff. I had a tomato mozzarella salad and my companion a pizza-baguette. Food was ok, I'd suggest to bring your own balsamic... More

Looking for some after dinner drinks we visited the Ambrosi which are in one of the viaducts of Zurich West. The place was not too packed so we found a nice spot and shared some excellent teas plus some cakes. All fresh and with great taste in a cosy ans special atmosphere.

Dear reader I used to go regularly to their takeaway. The last 3 times I got half cooked pasta. So if you are into that AND you want to see overstressed cooks in a too small kitchen....go there. It is worth you while. The only Italian on this place is the name of the dishes. It is a pity because... More

We brunched at the Ambrosi because we loved the look of the stones, the decor and the easy jazzy ambience. Those are the very good points. The less good points were this this was by far the smallest and most limited Sunday Brunch platter and selection that I have seen in my life. And for some reason, the serving team... More

Our asking the waitress if it was still possible to get something to eat since the restaurant looked kind of empty annoyed the hell out of her - at least that's what her reaction showed. Unfortunately the pizza was no good, either. Convenience food at its best. Hard on the outside, flavourless all over. No coming back here, no.
