Me and my boyfriend stopped here for lunch. Staff were very friendly and found us a table even though it was quite busy. I had a kind of Greek salad with house dressing which was generous and just right after a carb heavy New Year's Eve meal the night before. The hot chocolate didn't come with cream and all that... Went here for a muffin and café latte. The space is cramped and service very slow. The waitress who served me was nice but she simply had too many to serve at once. Free complimentary WiFi. Pricey (£10.60) but expected in Switzerland.

Their cakes are just not baked well. Cheap ingredients and not baked to the end. They offer Blechkuchen which is supposed to be a nice cake made from yeast. But instead you get a cake that is made from a cheap dough and does not taste at all. The staff member was overwhelmed all the time and could not catch... More

We have gone here 2x now and really enjoyed this little dessert shop in Zurich. Sitting out on the sofas and benches with the blankets is a great way to enjoy a time together. The hot chocolate is pretty good as well.

That used to be one of my favorite spots. The last three times I've been there, I had the same problem. It was understaffed and the personnel was grumpy. My dessert was actually so bad that I couldn't finish it. The wifi also didn't work. I complained but didn't even get an apology. Not coming back.

Had a very nice time here with coffee and some treats. The bread items had very subtle tastes, could have been stronger as the banana bread and orange bread did not taste much different. Coffee was good and the apfelstrudel was very good.

The place is very nice to spend a coffee time and its location is great. The espresso was excellent and the cakes good. Have in mind that is very expensive. 4,90 CHF for an espresso and 5,70 CHF for a cappuccino (I'm attaching the invoice)

We went to this place for lunch. They offer some 'asian inspired' lunch menus. I've ordered a Thai Salad with Beef. It was a soup style, dead cooked stew. No taste, cooked to death! Ok, my fault I go to a place called 'Cake & Friends' for lunch. But they really should focus on their key business and stop offering... More

Cake is a little in the dry side for my taste, but nice hot chocolate. Nothing special, but a nice treat.
