The most amazing hot chocolate. I had a slice of Black Forest gateau as we had just driven through the Black Forest in Germany to get here and it was sensational. My husband had a little chestnut tart which he quietly ate with any words (always a good sign). We visited the Christmas markets which were sensational but a chance... More

okay... If you like chocolate then this is your Mecca... We visited this cafe in December so it was very festive and really did get you in the mood for Christmas... The hot chocolate is well known for being great and did not disappoint. The intense chocolate cake is amazing... but I'd recommend sharing it with a friend... its a... More

Most tourists in Switzerland know about Sprüngli on Paradeplatz, which is justly famous for its cakes and drinks. Not so many go to Schober, because it's in the Niederdorf, which is a shame because it's just as good. Actually I think the hot chocolate is better. The building itself is worth a visit. In warmer weather you can also sit... More

The guide on the #freewalkzurich tour recommended this place to us. We liked it a lot. It is nicely decorated with very tasty deserts.

I love to visit Café Peclard, mostly during the holiday season as this place goes all out with their decorations and it’s a great spot to visit day or night. They have Christmas decorations on the plants at the entrance, once you walk inside and in nearly every spot up to the top level. A really festive atmosphere. In my... More

A visit to this coffe shop is a must for chocolate fetishists!! They offer the best selection of chocolate I ever tasted!! Their house specialty is the hot chocolate with whipped cream.. it corresponds to a meal and is incredibly tasty. Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch in a baroc/jugendstil atmosphere!

I had never been here before and my brother in law asked if I fancied a coffee while we waiting for the ladies having a spa As you enter it's like a small cafe with a cake counter but then it just opens up to lots of different area on different floors The decoration is stunning and this time of... The cafe has the loveliest atmosphere I have ever experienced. The cafe looks small on the outside but gets better the further you walk inside. The decor is cosy and whimsical with little surprises hidden everywhere. Whilst it may be pricey, the quality of the coffee and hot chocolate was clearly reflected in the price. Well worth it for a... More
