Usually locals eat raclette in cooler weathers, but I find myself in Zurich after a year and a half without travel, so my choice for a local cuisine is clear. The positive effect of Covid was that the restaurant was empty, tourists still did not...start coming, and as said, local do not eat raclette in a warm June weather. The raclette was tasty, made of two Swiss cheeses half and half, with white wine, kirsch and freshly ground pepper. I dipped into the boiling swirling cheese mixture pieces of bread and baby potatoes, and ate my fill, sending it down with cold local beer. I ended this meal with Creme Caramel which had a definite home taste with caramelized sugar sauce that had pleasant bitter after taste. Good stuff.More
