Great “neighborhood” restaurant. It’s a very unassuming place but it is beautifully appointed and the service offers some lovely touches. The menu is more than adequate and the dishes are well explained. Diners were offered an amuse bouche. We ordered the sweet and spicy sea bass and the lychee curry with duck breast. Both dishes were ample and excellent.
This may not be the best place for an intimate meal as the space is small and some tables are best described as communal. That didn’t appear to be a problem. My only criticism is the charge levied for 500 ml of tap water. Maybe it’s a Swiss thing but I find it off putting.

This could have been a 5 star review. Most importantly is the food was absolutely terrific. Fresh ingredients prepared properly. We were shocked to find such good Thai in Switzerland! However the waiter had the personality of a rock and was down right cold. Made us uncomfortable to be there and we aren’t all that picky. I have learned in Switzerland the water right out of the tap is quite good so we learned to ask for tap as to not get charged $8 for a small bottle. However when we asked for this he pointed to the menu and showed 3.50. I stated we just want tap water he said I understand but you will pay for this. So we ordered two “tap waters” not bottled and charged $7. This is infuriating however the food was great so go and enjoy but be warned you will get very impersonal service from everyone there

Vee's Bistro is relatively small and a reservation is recommended. It does not have its own parking spaces.
The staff are friendly but short-tempered.
The food tastes very good but is also quite expensive. The portions are rather small and charging CHF 6 for a mini additional portion of rice is almost cheeky.
All in all, a good restaurant that is recommended.

The food was really tasty and spicy as Thai should be. The service was also fast and the personal was nice. My girlfriend had birthday and she became a free dessert, so everything was great here. I will come back for sure.

We took the mixed starter for two for CHF 24 per person. Was without much flavor and far too deep-fried. White wine was also of low quality. We spontaneously decided to go somewhere else to eat. Were then pointed out when paying that the minimum consumption is CHF 35 per person. I got stomach problems shortly after. I would avoid this restaurant.

The food was OK, but nothing more. Cutting up the rather "al dente" and much too large pieces of vegetables with a fork and spoon was a real challenge for my white shirt. The sauce was relatively watery and the meat was tough.

Love this place for Thai food. Server was so great to explain and able to accommodate special request. Food was great and their presentation of food is commendable. This place is a hidden gem in Zurich for authentic Thai food.

We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel and decided to try this after reading reviews. This was THE best meal we had in Switzerland. The food was spectacular, and the service was top notch. If you like Thai food, give this a shot. Start with the spring rolls.

Probably the best beef salad I've ever had. Mega MEGA tender and top delicious chain in a fantastic "sauce"! Shut up it was good

Our server misunderstood our orders on more than once occasion. The food was freshly prepared and of high quality, but the choice of ingredients/preparation style was not to my liking. Probably wouldn't go back.
