Ordered a Swiss Landrauchschinken on a sunflower seed bagel and a black coffee. Both were excellent, the staff were friendly and the bagel was the most flavoursome I've had outside of NYC. Was working just across the street so couldn't have asked for a better...lunch. Plenty of choice as well so worth a visit.More

Bagel Boys is open daily and their menu includes bagels of every variety with spreads, salads, snacks and sweets, smoothies, coffee/tea, juices and fresh bread. I transited by this shop a few times finally decided to check out the place. In nice weather, they have...an assortment of sidewalk seating at the front and side of the business. Inside, there is a mixed use of wooden chairs with marble tops and high stools and tables. The staff was super friendly on my visit and willing to explain everything. The breakfast and lunch bagels can be ordered plain, with simple spreads, house-smoked salmon, grilled meats, sliced meats, veggie, vegan, and more. I ordered the whole wheat bagel with bacon and egg (13.80CHF), which was served in a wicker basket along with an order of potato chips. Wow, what a sandwich. This was beyond doubt the best, fresh, and most delicious bagel I have had the pleasure to sink my teeth into! I was previously not a great fan of bagel sandwiches, but these bagels have certainly changed my mind on that. I will certainly head back to sample some of the other varieties they offer on the menu. We had per-ordered a bunch of Bagels for a birthday party lunch in our office. When a colleague went to pick them up at the Bagel-store, he was handed over deep frozen bagels, which he of course refused to take, and he thus had to...leave empty handed. Needless to say that everyone in the office were disappointed. When we later contacted the management to complain, we were informed that we should have specified that we wanted fresh bagels and not frozen ones... Only in Switzerland.More

I usually pre order bagels at this place. The bagels taste almost as good as at any bagelplace in NY. When picking up my order today for a big birthdaylunch for 20 people, I was handed over frozen bagels. When I complained that I of...course wanted fresh ones, they told me that I should have specified that when I placed my order... And no attempt to compensate or excuse the bad handling of my order. The bagels at this place are good. But the service, a disaster.More
