I was nearby for business and had lunch at Taggenberg. Friendly welcome, good and forwarding care, very good cuisine and nice wine offer. Since there is no longer a reasonable restaurant in Winterthur that is open at lunchtime, you have to be grateful that this beautiful place still exists.

We where a big party of 13, and made reservations at Taggenberg. Our table looked great! The hostess offered us drinks on the terrace with a beautiful view! When we where seated, we where pampered with delicious food, starting of course with an amuse bouche, and ended with a delicious dessert. I had Irish Rinds filet, which was fantastic! I can highly recommend it! Thanks team Taggenberg for a wonderful evening!

we had dinner end of April in the Taggenberg and it was excellent. We went there with friends, didn't know that there was a restaurant. It is just a bit in a nowhere, outside of Wülflingen, a small town close to Winterthur. The interior is very tasteful and charming. The personnel was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed excellent food, very good vine and a fantastic dessert. All in all to recommend and for sure we are going back again.

The Taggenberg is surrounded by farmland and vineyards, situated on a hill overlooking Wülflingen, the most western part of the city of Winterthur. We spent the summer evening on the terrace and enjoyed a prime first class service. The food was french inspired, excellent, of high quality and standards. We are not an 'easy family' if we are all together as the taste goes from seafood to meat to vegetarian. The Taggenberg restaurant managed to have something for everyone of us. However, such good food and also excellent wines come at a price and this was the only reason why we will not visit the Taggenberg that often.

The duck liver pâté – small and extremely fine – deserves the highest rating. The giant prawns were a real delight. The recommended wines were convincing, as was the ambience. Service was first class. Bravo; we are delighted and bow to this great achievement.
