Good service with a good variety of drinks. Music entertaining. Close to the lake and old town of zug. Highly recommendable.

The place is lovely, great service, fast and hassle-free. The food is nice, my Phad Woon Sen was excellent, it's creamy and not oily at all unlike the typical fried glass noodles that usually tend to be too oily. I'm happy to be introduced to this little gem and will certainly come back again :)

A wonderful find. A great little restaurant with loads of character and the food was excellent. I had the Tom Yam Goong (hot spicy king prawn soup) and a Yellow Chicken curry. Everything superb from the service, the restaurant the location and of course the food. Lots of nice little details including the crockery the food was served on. Really... More

The restaurant is nicely located in the old town of Zug and very close to the lake. It has a very nice interior. The food is really good and authentic. Some if it is really spicy, but that's a plus when it comes to real Thai food.

This Thai Restaurant is a bit hidden away as it is located on the first floor. Even by entering the front door you would not expect such a wonderful Thai cuisine. Very Cody inside. And I would recommend to make a reservation as there is only limited space. The only disadvantage: A bit costly but definetely wortwhile. All in all... More

This is a NON-review because i could not try the restaurant The closing time was 22, I arrived at 21.40 and the owner did not accept me because he "already sent away the cook" Also if it's an unexciting night, you cannot close before the time you declare If you don't respect the clients, it's better you go to sell... Authentic Thai food, high quality, and nicely arranged. This small restaurant is a blend of traditional Swiss wood-panelled interior with some Thai decoration. A lot of choice on the menu. I had the papaya salad and the roast duck red curry, which were both excellent and the amount of chilies was adapted to my taste (i.e. very hot). Great place... More

The place looks beautiful, it is set on the second floor of a 500 year-old house in Zug old town. The stairs are so narrow that getting up there can proof to be challenging if you are beyond certain girth, and impossible if you are handicapped. The place per-se is OK, very small (only 6 or 8 tables depending on... More

Have visited all Thai restaurants in Zug and surroundings many times. Have many Thai friends, some who have restaurants, so feel "qualified". Over many years, Gotthardli has consistently been way above all local alternatives for cuisine, service and ambience. Book early!
