We visited here on my birthday. Wonderful hideaway resturant in the old town. Extremely friendly staff most welcoming. Traditional swiss resturant. Very cosy . Food was superb as was everything about the place super atmosphere. Nothing was to much trouble. An absolute gem .

We visited without booking and were seated immediately at a lovely table in the traditionally themed restaurant. The staff were friendly and relaxed even though they had large tables to deal with. We ordered a fondue and a meat grill. Both were absolutely delicious and...More

What a shame that such beautiful settings and ambiance of the venue was so negatively affected by extremely slow and careless service. With a group of colleagues, we intended to celebrate work accomplishments and ended up poorly attended, with absolutely no engagement or any effort...More

We went with a family group of 7 and had a totally delightful evening eating fondue and raclette. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. I couldn't possibly recommend it more.

Me and my parents went to Le Museum for dinner. Before sitting down we asked if they offered gluten free dishes, because I have celiac disease. The waiter we talked to was obviously highly intoxicated and had a really strong smell of booze. He did...More

Having dinner with a group here is very nice one. Why? Because they offer a real Switzerland ambience along with their famous fondue as traditional food of Switzerland. The portion is incredibly huge. Fit enough for family, group, and even couples.

Beautiful restaurant, with all the cheese you'd expect in a Swiss restaurant, we had the 50/50 fondue, raclette (the waiters assumed we knew what to do), ask if you've never had a raclette before. The rosti was really tasty too. Reasonably priced, nice wine, overall...More

It's a bit out of the way, but worth the walk. We had one of the best meals of our 2 weeks in Switzerland here. Great fondue, excellent service, interesting historic building. I would go back in a minute.

Description
The Museum is situated in a historical building in the old town of Montreux and it is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station. Founded in the early years of the worldwide known Montreux Jazz Festival The Museum has been the place to be for many internationally known stars like Mick Jagger and David Bowie to name but a few. The setting is traditionally Swiss with an authentic atmosphere. In summer a peaceful court invites families and friends to enjoy a meal in a relaxing environment. The Museum accepts groups of up to 150 people and it is the ideal place for family or company events, but it is also a romantic place if you'd like to spend a privileged moment with your loved one. The Museum honours the Swiss cuisine with many different cheese and meat fondues of the highest quality. You could also try their famous' Charbonnade', a charcoal grill on which you grill your meat according to your own taste! Most of the menus are served with the outstanding potato gratin made with chef's secret ingredients (this includes 10 different Swiss cheeses). We look forwards to welcome you soon !
