This place specializes in fondu, we took the typical Moitié-moitié and it was really thick and lacked intensity in the taste. The service was great but I have to leave it at 3 because of the fondu

We have had a lunch in Cafe de l'Eveche. There are different menu choices for each day which is nice, there is also fix menu with wide variety of choices. I ordered lamb cutlets served with bread and salad and my friend a cheese risotto. Everything was just absolutely delicious!!!!!! Fresh full of taste, well presented, and I will repeat:... More

I was born in Lausanne and lived here most of my life. I am writing this review to alert any tourists who happen to pass by my home city. I often heard about this restaurant since I was born as their speciality is fondue (which is apparently good according to some friends). We went there on a Sunday evening after... More

Get ready to tuck your elbows in because this place is cramped. It has a kitsch Swiss style which is okay for the cuisine. Service hovers between brusque and trying (and failing) to be funny. Food is quite good though you can probably make a better fondue at home. However, the prices are excellent.

Excellent swiss fondue, atmosphere and really good service. Place to go with friends, place to enjoy good meal, place to overthink your life near very nice Cathedral with a cup of finest coffee... worth viviting, worth trying, worth tasting..

This restaurant is opposite to the lovely Cathedral, there are outdoor tables as well as inside. To be honest I thought perhaps this might be a tourist trap when they gave me an english language menu, but actually it was a very good experience. We went on a friday night and it was filling up fast. They have a seasonal menu,... More

I have always had fondue at this restaurant. There are numerous variants- Bolets (mushrooms), tomato etc. Generally a fairly lively restaurant with a wide range of ages. A nice place to visit if you happen to go to the Cathedrale (which is only a 100 meters away). I have been going to this restaurant for at least 10 years so... More

Not much was open Sunday night so we ended up here. Happy I did. The servers were delightful. The fondue la maison was delicious. The garden seating out back was very comfortable and had a great ambiance. Lovely all around.

Lovely terrace for dining My wife likes her fried perch and frites. Kids shared a roesti order that they liked. I had the Roquefort salad with excellent greens and duck meat. Good selection of local wines.

Few places open Sunday afternoon - this one is. Even on a quiet day there were a couple of fondues on other tables. Dinner for 4 about CH120. Local focus menu. If coming up lower lausane there an elevator on the east end of the bridge.
