The restaurant has two floors, one for fondue and raclette and the first floor for the people who are not ordering cheese based food. I had a rosti that was good and also the meat was well prepared. The dessert was simply fantastic. Only negative comment: the menu is really limited.

We saw the amazing qualifications of this place so we decided to go for it and we had some morilles fondue and some desserts. Everything gost 100 frrancs :-o The personnel was really gentle and hard working, the food quality was ok but I wasn't amazed of anything. Fair? yes. wonderful? probably not.

Although the menu is rather short, but all the dishes on it are well made. As it's a small a place it gets crowded fast, so reservation is a must, but the athmosphere is amazing. I It feels like you're in a pub 100 years ago. I would recommend for anyone who would like to try Swiss specialties in the centre... More

The food and the ambiance is great as usual. The service was a little slow the last time, though. The fondue is famous and can also recommend the beef.

Pinte Besson is a nice little restaurant (where reservation is warmly encouraged), offering swiss fondue only at the ground floor and not upstairs (you might want to specify if you want a fondue while booking a table). The service was excellent - If I had a restaurant I would immediately employ the two lovely waiter and waitress we had !!!... More

Atmosphere and service is very frienldy. We tried several kind of fondues, all were good and well made. I wouldn't recommand for big groups though because the inside is very tight

If you want to have a typical fondue here is the place to go. However, be aware that: - the cost for a dinner is very expensive - The place is very characteristic but not really confortable seats - There is a strong smell of cheese (which somehow expected) So 3 is a combination of typical place for a fondue... I was invited for lunch to this restaurant. It is supposedly the oldest restaurant in Lausanne. It feels like an old cellar which I likred. The food is typical bistro fare fondues, stews steack etc. The food was good, by no means wow! The service was so so. We had to ask for the bill four times

Definitely best Fondue taste and experience in the area. The platters are excellent as well. But the selling point of this resto is the history and overall ambiance that comes with the dining experience
