I am Swiss and I can say that fondue is really good and reasonably priced. The staff could use a bit of training on smiling, thanking and making more of an effort. I guess they don’t need it seen the history and location. Recommended if...More

Nice fondue of good taste unlike any other places. Authentic Switzerland food with cheese and potato cake!

Last night, our foursome enjoyed a tasty dinner at this local’s favorite! Thank goodness our concierge made us a reservation because it is a small restaurant and due to it’s success, it quickly fills up. Three of us shared the cheese fondue with herbs, the...More

Got the chicken schnitzel; received only what can be described as a McDonalds chicken patty. 23 CH? Woof.

Had to wait for an hour until we got our food served. There were only 3 staffs at the time we ate there. I recognized that the place was crowded, but then they should have managed to add more staffs. For Zermatt, yes I would...More

The food is average taste and quality however the worst part is the attitude of the waiters. They give you the menu and disappear for a long period of time before they acknowledge your order. Same thing goes to ordering the bill, it will also...More

My wife and I ordered the dinner special which started off with a salty bullion mix for soup (Knorr?) and white sponge bread, followed by a greasy veal brat (best part of the meal) and a rather soupy rösti. The wait staff wasn't what I...More

This was possibly the worst meal we got in Switzerland. The Rösti was awful. You pay dearly for food in Switzerland. I can't remember what my husband got but it wasn't good either. Our order was taken by one guy and then we were just...More

We wanted to try fondu for the first time while we were in Switzerland, and we read that this place, which is the oldest restaurant in Zermatt, served the best, so we made a reservation earlier in the day and returned for the meal. So...More

The fondue is absolutely yummy and the best we had all holiday. We had the mushroom and original and also a Rosti. All the food was delicious. The service was really good and the owner showed us how to eat the fondue properly. They were...More

Count around 35chf per person with 2 glasses of wine. The fondue is served with potatos and the bread to put in the cheese. Potatos are normally not given but are at dupont.

We were there for dinner and they have a bar/pub so imagine their hours are most of the day and night.
