Beautiful little place below the Sunnegga area. The food was very good, but what really make this place stand out, is the location with the amazing Matterhorn view, and the old wooden buildings.

It's worth the track through slushy spring snow below Sunnega to eat here . . It's pricey , but what isn't in Zermatt and this food is some of the best you'll eat in the Alps . Hearty , mountain dishes with local ingredients expertly cooked . It's authentic not fine dining but just what you want . The different... More
This is a great place to have lunch and enjoy the sun after skiing. The food is generally very good (we have been there many times). The only dish I like less is the fish soup. It doesn't have much taste. The truffle ravioli are good on some days and less fresh on others.
Outstanding veal liver Provencal but even better Raclette roesti! Very friendly staff and unbelievable cuisine in the slopes with incredible views on the Matterhorn. A must in Zermatt
If you find your way here you will have an excellent experience! The ambience, menu, quality, presentation and service is outstanding!
This restaurant is worth visiting. Remember to book table early as possible. Very good service and the food is excellent. They serve even fresh oysters! There is many choises in the menu. Tartar beef is great! Try the local white wine Heida which is excellent choise. I really recommend to stop here.
Really tasty food. I had a lamb and rosti dish that was extremely tasty; especially after a monster day of skiing. The setting is truly amazing: views are breathtaking. Service was friendly and attentive. Totally worth every penny/franc you spend.

The asparagus platter ample for a main and perfectly prepared. The local wines are worth a try. We had a good Syrah and very good Chardonnay. The service is... More
