We had an excellent dinner last night in Zermatt at Brasserie UNO.
Really UNIQUE experience and very creative.
I LOVE this place with great service and really you gonna feel like HOME.
Looking forward to come back asap. ENJOY!!
Creative and well-elaborated dishes. Excellent service by a charming Australian expatriate. One of our best restaurant experiences in Zermatt.
Wine list — especially by the glass — could be slightly improved to match the caliber of the food, but still very solid. A great option...for dinner!More
Great Nordic inspired restaurant. Great food, beautifully presented and really nice local ingredients. I can highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch. The staff are super nice and very knowledgeable about the food and how it is prepared.
Nicely situated, in downtown Zermatt.
Very cosi, this restaurant it's beautifully decorated and ideal for a "tête à tête" dinner or a lunch between friends. It serves European dishes, with local ingredients.
For me, all dishes were exquisites. I had a wonderful Portobello mushroom served...with brown rice and a well-made drink (Old Fashion). So, the bartender, along with all the staff is very good :-) The only bad note (if I have to find one) that the service was a bit long, we waited a bit, but the company was good dans the weather outside (we stayed in the terrasse) cool. I totally recommend it!More
What a discovery! Uno is an old Swedish first name, an ancestor of the owner. The decor has elements of both Swiss and Swedish cultures, but the food goes much, much further. Tomato salad prepared like a ceviche, moose meatballs, portobello mushroom tatin and regulars...like rib-eye are all fantastic. Everything has a delicious twist. Add in deconstructed desserts and a great wine recommendation and you have a perfect evening. And then there's home-made limoncello. Enjoy!More
Whilst the restaurant is still closed due to Covid19 we were so lucky that Brasserie Uno did a pop-up restaurant at our hotel 22 Summits while in Zermatt.
What an absolute treat - the food, wine & welcoming atmosphere from Andreas & Michelle were all...outstanding.
Truly passionate staff, using fresh and local ingredients. There is really nothing else like it.
The veggie option - celeriac steak was unforgettable. We can’t wait to return when the restaurant is reopened for the “full experience”.More
We had a super evening at Uno with Andreas and his staff at Uno. 9 course taste menu was excellent. There was so many exciting courses together with great wine choices.
We will highly recommend this restaurant.
I usually don't write many reviews but when an experience is so great, I also believe it is right to reward the hard work and efforts of the team involved.
We were here for dinner 3 nights ago for an anniversary dinner. I had chosen...the restaurant due mostly to the previous reviews I'd read on TripAdvisor as well as the great food shots they have on their website. It did not disappoint in the least. The restaurant offers a unique culinary approach with varied influences in a great cozy environment and good service.
The cherry on the cake of all this is the owner, Andreas. You wouldn't notice he's the owner at first as he's relentlessly working with the rest of his team in providing the great service. But if you have a moment, take the time to talk to him so that he may tell you the story behind the restaurant and share his passion. His passion brings the entire experience and place to life in a way that will make it an unforgettable experience.
We had the chef's tasting menu and I would strongly recommend anyone coming here to try it out. If you're in Zermatt, it's absolutely a must try.More
