Had nightcap here with my wife and adult son. Atmosphere is relaxing, service friendly and quick, and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a drink before or after dinner!

This place is fairly legendary in Zermatt so if you plan to stay for a while or to eat - book in advance - it is not very big inside but very cosy and warming. We arrived at 1700ish and found a spot at the bar for two (there are probably only 6-7 seats there at the bar really). All... More

Elsie's is a classic, friendly bar and a great place to unwind after a day on the slopes. It's got a cosy and warm atmosphere.

Stopped by for a quick glass of wine before dinner! Charming atmosphere and reasonably priced wines! Definitely recommend.

ELSIE's is the place to have apéritif. It is located in a small chalet next to the church and offers fresh oysters which were delicious. We did not like the tartar so much. Though it was knife-cut the cook mixed ketchup into it which gave it a sweet taste. We complained but apparently this was the recipe of the house.

We went there on trip advisor review. Very disappointed. Very expensive. The lobster spaghetti was poor:maybe a quarter of a half lobster tail... Tartar steack: no salad, no French fries or side dish, but very expensive... Dessert: chocolate cake was poor... Water bottle is 11CHF when it's between 6 and 9 in other places... Very disappointed.

Two nights we went for dinner and enjoyed the food and atmosphere tremendously. The food is high quality. Alaska wild salmon, excellent tournedos, very good lobster bisque and a very dedicated waitress.
