Stockhorn grill is a fabulous place to eat, good menu choice, steaks a must! Gets very busy, so get there early evening.

Great little restaurant hidden away in Zermatt. It has a firewood grill at the entrance that welcomes you when you walk in and undoubtedly announces that you´ve walked into a meat place. We thouroughly enjoyed our soups (potato soup and vegetable soup) and meats (lamb chops) so much that we could fit one of the fabulous desserts in our stomachs.... More

This is a quant restaurant not far from the main street in Zermatt which has been around for a long time. Its cozy inside and also has nice outside seating. I had the Garlic and Chili Beef Kebab and my wife had the Chicken. Both were tender, delicious and very tasty. The staff were wonderful. Try the Portuguese red wine... More

Recommended by our amazing host, and kept us from having to walk all the way down the hill, but more importantly the meal was stupendous. Salads followed by Steak, Steak skewer, chicken skewer or mixed meat, all were terrific as were all the different types of potatoes we tried. the Apple strudel was to die for!! Highly recommend. Quaint atmosphere,... More

As meanwhile a lot of the Zermatt Places became super chick , this is still a true mountain location where you feel cozy and comfortable. The Service was outstanding and the beef filet just perfect. Also the wine list is very good and the raclette is most likely the best in Zermatt. So it was overall a great evening. I... More

Authentic very friendly restaurant . Beef skewers to die for , tender, succulent full of flavour. Very accommodating staff who produced lovely vegetarian risotto for my son. Will definitely be back to sample the fondue's if the meat is anything to go by.

Unfortunately nothing to be remembered with. The skewers we have ordered were ok and big ones. The stuff is really friendly so that was definitely not a mistake going there, but next time we'll look for something more interesting.

Had a pleasant meal here. Nice cosy atmosphere inside (probably feels better in winter than summer). Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Food was OK, not bad, but not wow that was the best I've ever tasted. I went for the garlic and chilli beef skewer as another reviewer had indicated it was an amazing experience. Maybe I shouldn't have... More

Atmosphere was cozy and warm , with the open grill when you walk in the aroma of it all is mesmerizing . Service is prompt and unpretentious . The food was beyond delicious . We had the trout tartare and the beef brochette . Just amazing . Would definately come back .

Like most of the grill restaurants in Zermatt there is a lot of meat on offer. This is well cooked on the open grill. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy.
