Excellent pizza, maybe the best in Lugano. Lots of Neapolitan specialties. The place is informal and great location. In nice weather, you sit outside and have a limited view of the lake since the restaurant is across the street. But it is a very pleasant place to sit on warm days.

I'm afraid there's not much to recommend this place (other than the location). We visited on an evening in July having been encouraged by some of the reviews. Having experienced the reality I have to say I question the validity of some of the reviews. "Best Pizza ever!" - only if you have never had a pizza in your life!... More

We came here after a weekend in Milan. The pizzas are nice but nothing special. We paid 90CHF for 2 pizzas, 1 dessert and 1 bottle of wine. The wine list is particularly bad unfortunately: only 5 reds, all very young and priced at 35-65 CHF. One in particular was priced at 38CHF which you can pick up at Carrefour... More

Come here only when you are in Lugano. Try the fired Pizza, you are going to love it. You have to book a table before coming.

I ate 3 times Here. In 2 cases the pizza wasn't cooked enough and during the night it looked a bit heavy. Prices are at Swiss levels where I think is not fair considering that pizza is one of the cheapest meal in the world. Try the pastiera cake 'homemade' but expensive. To be improved

The pizza here is really neapolitan and is really good: soft, crispy pasta and all fresh top quality ingredients. I am very picky with pizza and mozzarella on it and here they use the real fresh mozzarella and not that dubitous "semi-fresh" and "semi-hard" already grated cheese. I certainly reccomend this place for a pizza and neapilitan fried specialities. The... More

The restaurant is located in a lovely place at the margins of the centre of Lugano. In summer, from the terrace you have a great view of the lake. We get a pizza and fried fishes. The pizza is different from that you usually get at a restaurant in Ticino: in this restaurant you get a Neapolitan pizza. The tomato... More

Loved the pizza at Neapolis ... closest I've had to Roma pizza in a long time. Good vibe with a view of the lake outside. Everyone seemed quite happy with their food in the entire restaurant. Their white pizzas looked great as did the other items coming out of the kitchen! Highly recommended!

While staying at the Villa Castalugano, we wanted to have pizza and a movie night with the kids and this place is a block away. Amazing wood fire pizza, great service and friendly staff. I would make a return for a sit down meal to take advantage of the views.
