We were jetlagged, so looking to eat an early dinner: we stopped in here. Don't do what we did: don't get the pre-prepped food (pizza, etc) anything already made...it's tired and old by the end of the day. We did see people order freshly made pasta and pizza which seemed much much better. Coffee and pastries...but I would just go... More

Stopped off here for a coffee and cake. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of both which I did not expect from a Department store café/restaurant. Very good other menu choices and prices reasonable.

Totally didn't expect to get fresh-made pasta before my eyes for CHF 10.50. It was spectacular, perfectly al dente. My salad and glass of wine made for a perfect meal at CHF 16. Outstanding quality.

Switzerland is expensive and we were looking for somewhere cheap to eat. Manora is located in the department store called Manor. The restaurant covers a huge area and they serve soup, sandwiches, pizza, a gorgeous range of desserts plus other hot food.

An excellent place if you are on a budget or want to save some money. It is self service with very low prices (considering where you are). You can get a pizza or pasta from 10.90. The decoration is pretty nice and the personnel although not speaking english will do its best to serve you.

Manora restaurant is a cheap ( or the cheapest) restaurant in Lugano but with really good quality of food and a big choice. I go there at least once a week.

If you are in a hurry, OK. Otherwise, it's better to have a pizza somewhere else. Food is good and you have a lot of choice, well cooked, but it's not a restaurant, it's a self service for a quick job lunch. Nothing bad, but something far away from what a restaurant is for me.

This is a self service restaurant with a vast choice of things to eat. You just take a tray and wander round and select what you want from a variety of stations then pay the cashier at the desk. You can then eat at that level or go upstairs and look out over the town.

My wife and I stopped in at Manora two weeks ago and were both disappointed with not only the quality of the food but also the rude cashier. Perhaps she was just having a bad day but her problem should not become the rest of the customers problem. The self serve layout was a bit confusing so much so that my... More
