Our host, a native of Chur, decided to take us to this restaurant because he'd never eaten there. House wines were reasonably priced and a bottle of water was about $10. We each ordered an entree only. My husband liked his chicken dish (about $35). Our host and I each had the spaghetti with shrimp; this was a large bowl... More

Based on Tripadvisor reviews tried this authentic place and was pleasantly surprised by the great tastes and service. The Riesling soup was delicious as well as the quarkpizokels. The churer zimt desert was also very good.

The Brasserie was across the courtyard from the Hotel Freieck which is why we initial chose to eat there. However, it was so good we went back a second time. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and helpful.

Eating out in Switzerland now is becoming almost prohibitive as a non resident visitor.. This was a nice restaurant, pleasant staff , good two course meal and 500ml of wine . At 140 Chf for two people though, for a standard meal, typical on our three days here so far, this will probably be our last visit to this lovely country,... More

This is a beautiful atmosphere and despite warnings of reservations being necessary I walked in and received a warm welcome and was immediately accommodated. A relief after traveling in the alps for a while was the English menu..all reasonably priced compared to Zermatt and st. Moritz. Especially wonderful was the Riesling white wine soup..also,pleased to see local dishes on the... More

Had a great meal here and choices from the specials menu were particularly interesting and absolutely delicious. We had a very warm and friendly welcome and whilst service was a bit slow, it was Friday night and they were very busy. There is a menus in English and the added bonus of an English waitress. Would definitely go again.

We walked into this restaurant on a Saturday evening without a reservation and they took care of us. The staff were friendly and took good care of us, even suggesting options not on the menu for my vegetarian partner (we don't expect that in Europe!). They also suggested good wine selections with our meals. Clearly popular with locals and deservedly... More

World's best ever "Boar Ragout Pasta" amongst other unique seasoned local dishes combined with Italian and French flavors. Incomparable ambiance and great selection of wines and spirits.
