Two of us went for an early evening meal and had the 80CHF meze which had plenty of variety and was mostly very good. Our only criticism was the meat was a bit overdone. Great falafels though and lots of bread. All the staff were...very friendly.More

This is a very authentic Lebanese restaurant. The staff and most of the customers spoke in Arabic. The food was delicious, plentiful, and moderately priced. It was quite busy when we were there and the wait staff was literally running around, but they brought us...our order relatively quickly. We were surprised when it came time to pay because although they told us they take credit cards, they don't take foreign credit cards, so if you don't have a Swiss credit card, be sure to bring cash.More

Best Lebanese / Middle Eastern food I've had. We ordered the Sheaaf Plate (grilled lamb) & Shishtawook Plate (grilled chicken). Both were excellent, as was the hummus and babaghanouj. Highly recommended.

It was the worst restaurant ever…. Food is not freshly made and waiters are so rude. We ordered sooooo many so we can feel full !!! Amount of food so little in the dish, even though it wasn’t cheap. Don’t recommend it at all so...badMore

You won't find a better quality restaurant for your money in Interlaken. In fact, we'd say this is one of the top three Lebanese meals we've had during our extensive European and Middle Eastern travels. The owner greeted us on arrival and the staff were...very attentive throughout the meal, despite a packed house and steady takeout business. Hats off to the hardworking wait staff and chefs. The food was authentic, handmade and bursting with delicious flavors. In particular, the lamb skewers were cooked to perfection. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food and local standards. Portions are very generous, so be sure to save room for dessert! Not sure what is behind some of the negative reviews regarding the service. However, having also eaten on 21 June 2022 we can verify emphatically that the problem is not with the restaurant. The owner and staff go above and beyond to treat everyone with dignity and respect.More

Visited Layaly Beirut on June 21st 2022, the food was excellent and really authentic, however, this is NOT FOR GROUPS WITH KIDS as the servers do not believe in guests first tasting food and ordering more. Had a big argument with a server who was...a chubby and bald and he was extremely rude and unwilling to take added orders. Server had all the time in the world to argue as to why isn't the full order placed in one go and we mentioned that without tasting it was impossible to order food (which was ultimately close to CHF 300) and that approach to be honest was pathetic. Horrible service and would rather sacrifice the food and get better service. There are several better options with good service in Interlaken but cannot tolerate bad service. Above all the owner Ronald sided with the server rather than being appreciative of the business given by us as Guests!!! Understaffed, bad service but good food which can be sacrificed for better service options.More

Food was amazing, and the owner gifted us with free desserts at the end. Super friendly and hard-working staff. We stayed late and still received great service.

Got the mixed grill platter. Absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, which is rare at any non Michelin restaurant. Patrick provided excellent service, and recommended a dessert that completely blew me away. Don’t even know what it’s called but it’s creamy and has strawberry...slices on it. Make sure to eat here.More

my girlfriend and I headed to Layaly on our first evening in the city, as we noticed the restaurant last year and thought we'd give it a try. We were seated outside, which was ok because although it rained a bit it was very refreshing...on a hot day. We were given a flatbread with zaatar and a few olives as a complimentary appetizer, which was very appreciated, then we took two mains, shishtawook and veggie plate; they were delicious, portions really big and flavors very good. The veggie plate needed more falafel though, as it should be the highlight of the meal. We also got an amazing rice pudding dessert free of charge! Service very friendly, prices fair and quality very good. Overall a lovely experience and I can only recommend it.More

Food isn't great. We ordered a grilled chicken which was rubbery, unfresh and generally lacking taste. The customer service wasn't great either. We expected alot more.

I was told by the Manager the food is of best quality. Rice was cold, waitor is in his own world tells me it's hot but when you touch outside its cold! Discusses with manager then they decide to heat ut up I didnt eat...as it felt it had a weired residue taste on it. Chicken dried out stringy old meat! Basic salad and Meze was fine! At the end of the meal ask me how was it good lol! I'm tired can't bother to speak to these jokers and complain because they don't care, who clearly see us as a tourist magnet parting our hard earnt money on overpriced meals not to standard! Spend the same money get a quality Sushi!More
