Our vegetarian family of 6 ate here and everything was excellent. The carrot cake and the avocado toast with poached eggs were some of the beat dishes we’ve had while in Switzerland. The decor is great, and the people are friendly. Do yourself a favor...and stop in.More
Very lovely staff and lovely food :)
The current situation makes it for everyone a bit harder, however they did their best to make us feel welcomed.
We will for sure be back when in Interlaken..
The place is wonderfully taken care off and a...lot of people joined us when we were just enjoying ourselves outside.
Please have a visit if around, we will be back for sure.
Thank you for the nice time and chats to the lovely british and new zealander owners :).More

Thanks so much for your nice review. Difficult times indeed (for everyone) Take care and see you again sometime :-)
This place is super cool, good vibe, feels hipster-like. The foods sound awesome, but I can’t say the taste follows through completely. Croissants are awesome, coffee great, but the other things we had were good—just not great.
Nevertheless, great option in town and despite what...other reviewers said, service was pretty good!!More
The waitress at the restaurant was horribly rude and cold. Was told to wait to be seated inside and was seated next to the toilet, despite there being plenty of empty tables. Ordered Lasagna and Hot chocolate, which was served after what seemed like eternity....Wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for a pleasant, warm experienceMore
Surprised to see several reviews saying friendly staff, they must have been off today! Arrived in Interlacken at 11.00am and made our way to Velo Cafe after seeing it online. Looked lovely from the outside and menu looked delicious, but staff ignored us and didn’t...acknowledge us at all when we entered. We sat ourselves down at a free table to be told very rudely by an Australian waitress they weren’t taking orders as they were “too busy” - struggle to understand how as there were only 3 other small tables in the cafe. After really having looked forward to eating here we asked if we could come back in 30 mins. We delayed eating and returned in 30 mins to again be told by the same waitress, in a very cheeky and abrupt manner, there was no table for us and sent us out again. Staff attitude was horrendous, very rude and cheeky. Will not be back and would not recommend. Not a great impression!More
