We came from Basel to Schaffhausen, and very fortunately had our dinner in Fungzeyuan. Taste is very good (especially for German speaking areas), and the staffs and boss are all very friendly. Will absolutely come again when we visit Schaffhausen next time! For family with little kids: you may let the staff know if you want to avoid spicy food.

Friendly service staff. Simple, well laid out menu. Wonderful crispy baked duck dish. Beef with vegetables... everything freshly made... Very harmonious on the palate with baked rice Cantonese style, perfect, we will be back, thank you very much 17.5 P.

A very nice, somewhat unexpected discovery. The classics of Chinese cuisine are very well cooked: from dim sun to Peking duck to fish with sautéed vegetables. Wine at reasonable prices and a very welcome Oolong tea in the evening and too rarely offered. The welcome was very friendly and the setting of the circumstances, without exaggeration. An address that we highly recommend (we dined there two evenings in a row…)

Authentic Chinese food in schaffhausen !
Delicious food , it’s mainly Cantonese style but Chef Man can create dishes from the different provinces in China . We eat here every week when we are in town . Try the sizzling prawns on the hot plate extra spicy , Hunan stir fried beef with preserved green and fresh chillies , sour fish with preserved mustards . I also enjoy the prawn on toast . If you like Chinese food give it a try , you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing chinese. Sichuan. All my family canteen there. Incl teens. Always sichuan. Which is reasonable spicy. We tried to cook the same at home but complete miss. Just try it inc take away at-lock down time. P

Since the beginning we are always satisfied guests. We like the food and the sercive ist always very friendly. The decoration is very much the way that it is in china.

We love this restaurant too much that we go there twice during our stay in the city. The food were fresh and really real Chinese food that you must have a try if you are food amateur and walk Schauffhausen by.

Vey nice place ever! We had very good time here. Dim sum, beizing duck and beef are very dellicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

All Asian who live in abroad always look for Chinese restaurants for comfort food.
We visit this restaurant once a month or more.
Everything is delicious. The price is normal for Switzerland. A lot cheaper compared to Zurich
A dish with rice only costs 16-18 chf
The special dishes costs only 22 per serving.
The place is in a very accessible part of the city with parking in front.
The service was quick and efficient.

The restaurant provides multi language menu for tourists at lunch but also charges à la carte price even the dishes are the same as in the lunch set! This is a NO GO!
On top the food as soso and far away for delicious!
The rest of the service was probably a 5 out of 10.
NOT to recommend.

I have been at the China Restaurant Fung Ze Yuan several times for business lunches and a few times in the evening for take away. Prices are fair and the food quality excellent, the serving stuff is really nice. I have not tried the duck but my colleagues tell me it's really good (I don't eat duck). I have tried dishes with meat and chicken, both really good, the food ingredients quality is high and the preparation as well, portions are pretty big too!
