On a Thursday night this place was buzzing! Great atmosphere made by a full restaurant on two levels full of groups and couples, all talking and having fun. Really good competent service from fast young staff. Reasonable pricing for wine by the glass and carafe....More

Small, cozy restaurant with a huge selection of steak tartare. There are other food options available, but it’s limited. Came here twice and both times I ordered something other than tartare and both times the food was good, but not amazing - a creamy pasta...More

All the nice tables were " booked" even though it was just after 1.30pm and further arrivals were unlikely. The carte was expensive without a great deal of choice. There are plentiful cafes, pancake places and good restaurants in the town below.

The service was quick and excellent - a real feat considering how cram packed the place was (food is that good here) on a Wednesday night. Great choice of beef tartare - I highly recommend the Ecossais, with some Lagavullin and a quail's egg -...More

This Cafe is number 1 from 144 eateries in Neuchatel and about 300 metres from our hotel, so we thought why not and walked up through the town. We noticed lots of reserved tables but we were early and so they could seat us before...More

The service was great: friendly and fast. The menu has about 20 different tartars. A reservation would've probably be good. We arrived at 11am so we didn't have any trouble getting a table. At noon, all the tables were occupied.

A couple of colleagues and myself recently visited for a evening meal and we had a great night First thing you must know though is that if you walk from the centre of Neuchatel there are a lot of stairs to climb and your thigh...More

Great tartar, I had the Thai tartar, I was expecting the curry to be overpowering on the taste of the meat and surprisingly it wasn't. The meat was excellent, and the waiter was so friendly which makes the meal even better. The restaurant is cosy...More

Although hard to find and park, their Tartar makes it all worthy. Delicious! Superb and friendly multi-language service!
