We came to this restaurant with a group of friends, most of whom ate cheese fondue which they said was excellent. Having had fondue the day before, I ate a good filet mignon of pork. The local red wine was delicious and the old world atmosphere in this place is great. The service was very friendly but slightly sporadic.

First, this establishment is not that easy to find. The listed address ("Pierre-a-Bot 106") doesn't help, especially as there are Route de Pierre-à-Bot all over the fricken' map. As shown on the inset, the restaurant is actually located at the end of the Chemin de la Lisière (which itself is a small turn-off from Route de Chaumont), at the edge... More

We were looking for suggestions to try a good fondue in Neuchatel, and we get the same recommendation from different sources. (We were also told, that it requires advanced booking, but it was not that crowded) The place is small and cozy, needs a bit of walk from the main road, that makes it more exotic. They had a big... This restaurant is small in size but it has a warm atmosphere. When we arrived we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the sun and overlook our children playing (there is a huge playground right underneath the restaurant) so we asked if we could sit outside on the terrace (everyone else was sitting inside). The waitress was reluctant at first... More

Great location but meals always seem to me a little off. Often cannot identify the meat served and even the server has difficulty sometimes identifying it. Fondu with raw meat served mixed with uncooked vegetables. If you reserve for a group avoid upstairs, it has tiny windows and feels like a storage room packed with chairs, especially, as you are... I visited with a group of six friends and had a great time. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The menu had all the usual suspects but fondue is a definitely the way to go here. There are a good dozen cheesy varieties but We all partook of the mixed meat, and we all loved it. There... More

Cheese fondue, meat fondue or "croûte aux morilles": my favorite food in this restaurant menu. Location is very nice, great for families, good service. You can eat outside on the terrace to enjoy the sun and the nice view or in the cozy room inside to spend the evening with friends.

Located in the old Neuchâtel golf clubhouse we have frequented this restaurant for many years with family, friends and work colleagues. The restaurant has a good ambiance although I think the food is average but if you want a great selection of fondues then this is one of the best in Neuchâtel. In the summer the terrace offers great views... More

This is one of the best places in the area of Fondu. If you haven't had it before start with the small portion and work our way up. Try drinking it with hot tea or red wine, the local Pinto Nior.

Don't let the design of their homepage and menu discourage you! The place is wonderful and cozy with it's wooden interior. We had the fondue vigneronne: 4 types of meat (beef, deer, chicken and pork) which you then cook in a bouillon of red wine. It's simply delicious! The staff was kind, fast and helpful, at the end they helped... More
