A delight!

We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised how much genuine love and craftsmanship seems to go into everything at this place. From the stylish interiour and the excellent food to the very friendly service, which needs particular mention... Go & be happy!

I had a very good visit at this restaurant. First of all the location: I visited when the weather was great and enjoyed the tables outside next to the river. Great location and a big plus. The food: it was good food and the portion size for the lasagna and dessert I had was in a healthy relation to the price. One of my party took the asparagus dish without steak, which they had on the menu at the time. This dish was a little off concerning the price relation. They basically did not increase the veggies compared to the dish including the meat, so the portion size was not adequate in relation to the prize. After speaking with a member of staff the dish was upgraded to the version including steak for the regular price difference between the two dishes. In my opinion a veggie dish should have more veggies on the plate compared to the side veggie portion in the regular dish. The service: service was good, friendly and attentive. All in all, I would come back, but would inquire about portion sizes before ordering.

Lunch - excellent Stopped for lunch and had the menu of the day. Main, salad and soup. Absolutely delicious and waitress was very attentive and helped us by getting an English menu without us even asking. Highly recommend for lunch. Very reasonable price.

A highlight of our culinary experiences in Switzerland

We lucked into a table for two on a busy winter evening at dinner time. The service was excellent and warm, the cocktails well prepared, the local wine quite tasty, and the food was top rate. I particularly enjoyed the sauerkraut creamy soup, and the warm plum dessert. My son experimented with the raw egg and liquor beverage for dessert and wished for seconds.

Delicious food and beautiful locatoin.

Delicious food with prices that were more reasonable that other restaurants we visited in the Old Town area. We had a table with a lovely view of the river. The location was more peaceful than some of the restaurants on the river closer to the Chapel Bridge. Service was friendly. We would definitely come here again.

Really good lunch

This restaurant has a great location, on the waterfront in lovely Lucerne. We were there for lunch and ordered a house salad, beef tartare and Nigerian style kebab served with quinoa. The portion sizes were good and the food delicious, with the dressings on the salad and quinoa a particular highlight. Together with drinks, the bill was around 80 Swiss francs.

Great Local Breakfast Spot in the Old Town, Mill'Feuille, Lucerne

Great local breakfast spot in Lucerne's old town, Mill'Feuille, with indoor and outdoor seating and quite yummy dishes exceeding expectations. Tip: Highly recommend reservations if you want a window seat during the morning rush. Enjoy

Causal Cafe food

Good location and good causal vibe. The Cafe is located near the city center and serve causal dining Cafe food. We had the soup, the chicken roulade and the Angus beef burger. It's a great place to get a causal meal and good value for money!

A good watering hole for a day out in Luzern.

Brilliant position next to the river and near the bridge in an attractive square. Menu offers lots of unusual dishes - a great relief to get away from the standard sort of stuff offered across the town. Good Swiss wines from the Ticino

Good location, friendly servers, clean

Lovely outside eating to soak up the old town atmosphere and people watch (if the weather cooperates). Multiple newspapers available inside to read while visiting (I would support them just for that!). Clean restrooms. Coffee beverages ordered tasted fresh. Prices appropriate for the location. Attentive servers making just the right amount of small talk.

There was no English menu so we asked for wi-fi access so we could use Google translate. The waitress lied that there was no wi-fi, so we struggled with the order. Finally, we got wi-fi access from another waiter and managed to order. The food was average and pricy. Do not recommend.

We came here for a late lunch after spending the day in the nearby mountains. The location is central but this place is very relaxed, not in a rush. The food was excellent and we ordered dessert as well, although did not plan previously. The service was friendly. The prices are reasonable compared to Swiss standards.

We both had a great meal. The staff were hard working and very friendly. Drinks were good; local wine and beer. Went back the next night for drinks having eaten elsewhere for a change; wished we had eaten here every night.
